Osteria del Noce In Marciana

One early autumn evening, I visited this restaurant, located in Marciana Alta, with a lovely view. I quite enjoyed it, and ordered a seafood appetizer—perhaps a little pricey, but good. And a basic fried fish.

A wonderful cacciucco...I absolutely recommend it. The staff were friendly and attentive.

A restaurant with a beautiful sea view. Excellent service, generous portions, and always available off-menu options based on the catch of the day. Their drunken octopus is truly spectacular!

I had dinner with my girlfriend in the first week of September. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and great hospitality! We had two appetizers, one of breaded shrimp and a bonito salad, both delicious! For our second course, I had a slice of beef that melted in your mouth, while my girlfriend chose the sea bream, which was the catch of the day (recommended for two people, and in the end, I had to finish it myself 😂). That was also really good! The waiter offered to clean it and was perfect and professional, but like all the staff, always smiling and very knowledgeable! The place is quiet, the view is stunning, and the price we paid was what we expected. Well, what can I say, highly recommended!

We went for dinner on a weekday evening in September, choosing it because it was recommended by the Lonely Planet guide while looking for a nice place to eat in Marciana. Ultimately, we weren't too pleased. The location is lovely, boasting a beautiful terrace overlooking the panorama below Marciana, but the food didn't impress us much. We had a mixed seafood appetizer, a revisited pasta alla puttanesca, and a Mediterranean-style bonito, and overall, the dishes we tried were very basic in flavor, a bit bland. It's a shame because the place is truly beautiful, and the service was quick and friendly. But I wouldn't recommend it, especially considering it's more expensive than average (we spent €70 for two for a shared appetizer, a first course, and a second course, drinking only water and no dessert or coffee). If I had to rate the food alone, I'd give it 3 stars.

Very good food and super nice location with a spectacular view of Marciana Marina

The spaghetti with sea urchins was delicious, with a rich, flavorful sauce. The staff was kind and attentive. The sea view was beautiful, even in the evening. We really appreciated the magical tranquility and silence of this place. I'll be back!

Marciana offre uno spettacolo dall alto veramente splendido e la terrazza del ristorante valorizza appunto il panorama... ahimè c'è da dire qualcosa a riguardo il rapporto prezzo/quantità ( scarso) la qualità del cibo comunque buono ; 3 euro di coperto che vanno ad aggiungersi al malumore per dei set di carta da Pub che un ristorante in quella posizione e comunque ben curato non merita; lo STAFF: in serata il locale è prevalentemente frequentato da vacanzieri " perché mettergli tutta questa fretta?" Perché mettere in tavola questa ansia di dover arrivare al caffè in men che non si dica? C'è un panorama di tutto rispetto che le persone vorrebbero godere. Insomma il lavoro del ristoratore prevede sacrifici e pazienza d'altra parte non credo che l abbia consigliato il medico di farlo. Sicuramente un/una gerente coscienzioso/a saprà sicuramente valorizzare questo commento.

Tappa obbligatoria da non perdere assolutamente, in primis per la cucina e poi per la vista mozzafiato. Il personale accogliente. 🔝
