Osteria Del Moro In Borgosesia

One of the best pasta dishes I ever had.

Excellent food and cozy atmosphere.

We'd thought about visiting this restaurant a while back, but for various reasons, we couldn't. Today, by pure chance, we found ourselves in Borgosesia, and luckily, they welcomed us at 1:30 PM without a reservation. I say luckily because the atmosphere is very charming, crowded with people enjoying an aperitif at the bar, and there aren't many tables. The scallops with croutons and raspberry and ginger sauce are incredible. The sweet and soft texture of the scallop, contrasted with the crunchiness of the croutons and the tartness of the sauce, is formidable. Not to mention the snails à la Bourgoignonne. I ordered six and had to order more. The ravioli al plin with braised meat and braised beef with polenta are mouth-watering. The staff is superb, starting with the waiter, a lovely young man, always smiling, affable, and passionate about what he does... in fact, he does it very well. Thank you so much! We'll be back.

It was my first time there and I found it to be a very nice and welcoming place, the staff was really kind and available to answer any questions or requests, and the food was truly excellent and delicious!! If you happen to be in Borgosesia, you absolutely have to try it!!!

Passing through Borgosesia, a very pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is like a true osteria: well-kept, clean, and welcoming. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu features a few local but delicious dishes. Potato flan with toma cheese, stuffed ravioli, and Fassona beef tartare—delicious! The bill was truly fair. Highly recommended!

The first dish I tasted at lunch was very good, the service was quick and courteous, and the prices were very good considering the quality of the dishes.
