A perfect lunch break during our autumn bike rides: a warm welcome, excellent food, a friendly atmosphere, all at a very reasonable price.
We'll definitely be back in the warmer months to enjoy the magnificent terrace and its panoramic view!

Today, at the Osteria del Mandorlo, where you can rediscover the ancient flavors of Umbrian tradition, I enjoyed truly sublime strozzapreti with almonds, radicchio, and pancetta, with a perfect consistency, and chicken cacciatore, reminiscent of the cuisine once enjoyed in our grandmothers' homes. All accompanied by the courtesy and friendliness of the owner, Simone.

We stumbled upon it by chance, but if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful, not to mention the food! The homemade strozzapreti are fabulous! I had the ones with hare ragù and highly recommend them 😊

We stayed at the Osteria del Mandorlo for a short stay of one evening and one night.
I can only say thank you to Carlotta and Simone because we really enjoyed our stay.
They are extremely friendly and ready to accommodate any request.
The rooms are cozy and simple, in line with the price we paid. For a double room with breakfast
(both sweet and savory, which we were pleasantly surprised by) and a private bathroom, we paid 60 euros.
The place is very charming, a true historic osteria with all the charms and niceties you'd expect to find in a very old
building... frankly, reading the other reviews, we really don't understand how there could be any negative opinions. We found it both clean and well-kept, with a very rustic and warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
The terrace is beautiful; it's a shame we couldn't use it given the unsuitable weather.
Regarding the food, I think there's little to say... they are simply excellent, both in the preparation of the pasta, which is handmade almost daily by Carlotta,
and in the preparation of the meats.
We ate strozzapreti with figs and guanciale and a tagliata with lard and honey that was amazing!!
And we thank Simone for recommending the bottled wine produced in Calvi... a delicious red called Succio that we recommend to everyone!!
The best in the area... a big hug from Carlo and Vittoria!!

I slept and dined at the Osteria del Mandorlo for a trekking and art trip. The rooms are simple but comfortable and tidy, and the bathroom is spacious with a nice hot shower. The breakfast was good, and the dinner was exquisite, with a menu of unique and tasty dishes. I'll definitely be back!

I stayed at your place on Friday evening and was satisfied with both the dinner and the overnight stay. Breakfast was also good. The place was very nice and the terrace was lovely. Thank you, we'll see you again in March.

Esperienza assolutamente positiva nel complesso.
Camera molto molto semplice con arredamento non troppo curato e bagno "essenziale", ma tutto perfettamente pulito e senza alcun disagio.
La cena consumata lì stesso, di buona qualità, preparata direttamente dalla titolare, è servita con grande garbo in un terrazzo rustico con vista tramonto mozzafiato.
Colazione semplice all'italiana, servita al tavolo, con marmellata di arance e confettura di prugne fatte in casa veramente gustose.
Ambiente semplice e autentico, prezzi adeguati alla buona qualità del cibo.
A pochi metri (10...) grande disponibilità di parcheggio e soprattutto sì è praticamente sotto la porta del borgo di Calvi dell'Umbria...a dir poco comodissimo.

Sono stato con la mia compagna in quest'osteria dove ci hanno riservato un tavolo in terrazza, diretti al sole che tramonta. È stata una cena già soltanto per questo magnifica, il bello è che abbiamo anche mangiato divinamente. Gli strozzapreti ai funghi porcini e tartufo sono stati encomiabili, così come il trebbiano debitamente consigliato dal titolare (uomo attento, simpatico e premuroso), e abbiamo concluso con dei dolci ottimi. Il mio? Crema di ricotta con pistacchio. Davvero: 10/10.
