Welcoming, excellent cuisine, and friendly, highly knowledgeable service. The appetizers are delicious, the first courses are characteristic, featuring local products, and the second courses are exquisite. A must-see if you're visiting the village or the surrounding area. Homemade products and family-style cooking. The homemade pasta and desserts, the traditional Umbrian second courses, and the homey atmosphere. Plus, Pet-friendly 🐕🐶 ❤️

We had dinner at Osteria del Mandorlo last Saturday evening. The location isn't particularly well-maintained, a bit run-down: it could use some renovation. It's true that I didn't see the terrace, but they say it has a beautiful view. The service was quick and courteous. The waiter (I believe he has a connection to the owners) was friendly, if a bit forced—but this, I admit, is a subjective perception, as is often the case with reviews. The grilled porcini mushroom appetizer was excellent, as were the first courses, with homemade pasta, which were truly delicious. I ordered a tagliata with truffle, asking for it rare. Unfortunately, it arrived well-done, tough, and flavorless. My rating for this dish: 5-. At the end of the dinner, the waiter asked me how it went, and I expressed my concern about the cooking of the meat. His response was a bit irritated: he tried to convince me it was rare, in an unpleasant way. But then, I wonder: why ask for an opinion if you only want to contradict it?

I stayed at the Osteria del Mandorlo during my walk with the Franciscan Protomartyrs with my wife, and it was a unique experience. A beautiful, tastefully renovated building with a truly lovely room, though special praise goes to Carlotta, the owner, who truly cares about your experience. She's a very kind and friendly person; within two minutes, you feel like you're talking to an old friend, even though you've actually just met! The breakfast was quite generous. Unfortunately, I didn't try the restaurant, but I definitely will the next time I'm in Calvi, a charming village that we've left our hearts in.

A very nice place with a lovely outdoor terrace. It's a shame everything isn't very well-maintained. The food is very homely, with some dishes being good—the homemade stringozzi, others much less so. The meats, despite being asked for medium, were overcooked and a bit tough. The local ingredients are decent, but they don't justify the somewhat high prices for what you get. Friendly owners and good service.

Osteria del Mandorlo is located just a short distance from the center of Calvi dell'Umbria. The restaurant is furnished in a tavern style, with outdoor dining available. It offers a wide variety of local dishes at reasonable prices. The quality of the food makes it a must-try. Fast service. Highly recommended. The hotel rooms, on the other hand, are minimal, with prices that match the offerings.

I've stayed and eaten at Osteria del Mandorlo many times, and it's always a guaranteed success. Carlotta uses quality ingredients, making every dish incredibly tasty. I recommend everyone try her cuisine.

Leuke sfeer en zeer vriendelijke bediening. We hebben voortreffelijk gegeten: zeer lekkere rode wijn uit de streek, Goed bereide, typisch Italiaanse gerechten met een heerlijke smaak en textuur. Prima!
