Easter Monday lunch, we were in the area and luckily we found the last available table in this Careseccia trattoria. We ate very well with typical local dishes, tasty and with generous portions. The kind and helpful service explained the various dishes to us and recommended the dishes of the day. A restaurant with full 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were there today for lunch for the first time... Had a great meal on a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view. Very good homemade pasta made by the owner which I highly recommend seasoned with delicious sauces. Very good and authentic red wine from a selected local winery. Exquisite dessert. We will be back.

A place where everything feels like home. All the dishes ordered had the taste of home cooking. The handmade pasta is a plus that adds to the goodness of the meat and vegetables chosen. Very rustic environment, which takes you back to the traditions and history of these places.

Allora se è vero che l'Italia è fatta di eccellenze questa osteria e una di quelle. Pranzo della domenica alla scoperta di sapori autentici. L'oste sempre cortese mai invadente e supremo conoscitore delle pietanze portate a tavola.dalla cucina escono piatti cucinato da mani sapienti che con la loro genuinità ci hanno regalato un pranzo domenicale eccellente. Complimenti ai proprietari allo chef . Torneremo di sicuro molto presto. Faraona alla Leccarda SUBLIME

Prenotiamo in questa piccola osteria. L'impatto è tipico del posto......stanze rustiche, pietra ai muri, tranquillità che si respira a pieni polmoni. Le chiacchiere che si mangia bene ci fanno ben sperare. Ci sediamo e Simone ci dà il benvenuto. Il menù è ricco e anche le portate del week end ed il fuori menù sono intriganti. Prendiamo il primo ed il secondo anticipato da un mix di bruschette.....l'inizio è buono, il primo devo dire che ci fa capire molte cose (consigliato se lo trovate broccoletti con pecorino e nocciole, leggermente pesante ma veramente di gusto) ed il secondo ci dà la sicurezza di aver capito che il locale merita.......Il dolce alla fine è la giusta portata che chiude in bellezza il nostro pranzo. Cosa dire......sicuramente torneremo

Unfortunately it was not a good experience having lunch at this place. The only thing worth mentioning is the homemade pasta made by the owner. The rest, although good, were in skimpy quantities. There were 22 of us, including a 2 year old who only had pasta with tomato sauce. On the menu of the other 21 members of the group the following was consumed: a platter of cured meats & cheeses (a total of 3 slices of cured meats and two pieces of cheese), a forkful of chicory, a spoonful of potatoes and two half-first courses. Of the 22, 10 of us had desserts, water and wine in carafes. Total €22.50 each, including the 2 year old. Obviously the price was high compared to what we ate, although it was good.

Are you looking for homemade and refined cuisine at the same time with friendly staff? The almond tree is the one for you. And if you've had a bit too much to drink and don't feel like driving again, it also has rooms to spend the night after walking through the alleys of Calvi. Advised.

13/07/2025: Nicoletta, the chef who welcomes those who wish to try her refined, homemade dishes into her home, offers a home restaurant experience in a wonderful location furnished with care and warmth. The vegetarian/vegan food is delicious, simple, and carefully crafted, embracing seasonality and the creativity of the moment, which guide her menus; from appetizers to dessert, it's a constant surprise. I appreciated everything, not only the dishes, all rigorously made by her own hands, including the excellent bread, but also the opportunity to experience the exclusivity of a lunch with my best friend, our only guests, served by a chef just for us who has thought of every detail to welcome us with so much love. Thank you, Nicoletta, we'll be back, and I hope everyone can enjoy a lunch/dinner with her and a service that can't be found or bought in any restaurant... it's worth it!
13/07/2025: My first experience at a home restaurant, and it couldn't have gone better! Nicoletta welcomed us into her beautiful, carefully furnished and very welcoming home, and delighted us with excellent food, all prepared by her with so much love. A tasting of exquisite vegan cheeses, delicious homemade bread, spectacular first and second courses, and not to mention the delicious dessert!!! Besides the excellent food, being able to eat in a traditional home in the village is a truly worthwhile experience. Thank you, Nicoletta, we'll be back soon!

16/06/2025: I expected more. Long waiting times before eating. To have the bread ditto; it arrives with the fried food when practically not needed. Beautiful place and the food also good but it could be much much better. Decent.
