Excellent food quality, fair price ratio and kind and fast service; I recommend trying the porcini and truffle tagliata. What can I say, the Osteria del Gusto is a guarantee.

Exceptional food: the best pizzas, pastas and fish dishes you can find in San Giovanni and all of Tuscany! But the real strong point is the service: always welcoming, kind and with a smile. Thank you for making us feel at home every time! We will definitely be back!

Had a great meal a few times. Have fixed price menus. e.g. menu with pizza, fish or meat. Neatly helped and ask in advance if there are any allergies regarding food.

Accoglienza Gentile , cibo molto buono e abbondante , prezzi più che onesti. Consigliatissimo. L’unico neo è la mancanza di parcheggio nelle vicinanze , ma c’è da considerare che ci siamo andati il sabato a pranzo , cioè il giorno di mercato a San Giovanni

Avevamo voglia di carne, e nonostante l’osteria e’ prettamente di pesce abbiamo mangiato discretamente. Il personale molto gentile disponibile ed educato, per il cibo buon antipasto dell’osteria( p.crudo finocchiona, coccole con stracchino crostini e formaggio) buon vino Montepulciano. Il primo ( consigliato dalla cameriera) paccheri con tartufo e guanciale erano troppo avanti di cottura e avevano poca croccantezza nel guanciale, ( bocciati) tagliata di carne funghi e tartufi molto morbida e di buon sapore. Nel complesso per una fermata veloce senza impegno la consiglio visto anche il prezzo molto onesto, ma senza lode.

11/06/2025: Too bad, it looks good but the ice cream is disappointing. It tastes flat and you can't taste the quality of the ingredients. The wafers are good Edit: The ice cream shop responded accusing me of having invented the review. I was the one with the stroller with the child who woke up while I was ordering; I took chocolate and raspberry fiordilatte.... I hope she was convinced. I'm sorry she didn't accept the criticism but given the cost of the ice cream I definitely expected better, I expected the ingredients, which are certainly of excellent quality, to be highlighted more. I would have given it other chances but given the tone of the response I received I doubt I'll ever return. To be honest I won't change the stars, but I won't deny that I was tempted to lower it from 3 to 1

Lo Spaccio

21/05/2025: We went today to eat these spectacular focaccias. My partner had the Tuscan finocchiona and I had the chimera, which I must say is truly special. The focaccia was hot, crunchy and super rich in delicious and quality ingredients. The environment is also nice with very kind and smiling staff. It was the first time, but we will return from Florence❤️
