I've tried so many restaurants around Italy. I've been to Dal Gallo e la Volpe three times in the last few years, and it remains one of my favorites. Authentic flavors. Excellent value, perfect service, and a lovely location. Excellent wine selection.

It was like a dive into the past, of foods that have been known for a lifetime but also a step forward with a revisitation towards new discoveries. Each dish is taken care of in every detail, from the flavor and the plating, beautiful and tasty dishes. Each was described with precision, the staff polite and kind to every request. The room is large and well-kept.

We ate well. The dishes were well prepared. But we expected more. The desserts were very very good

Everything was fantastic! The place is very well-kept, the service is top-notch and the food is excellent. I had a legume soup and lamb. The meat was really delicious, tasty and cooked to perfection. The soup was very good and the anchovies really gave it something extra. I drank a glass of full-bodied local red wine. To start, they brought me an excellent pappa al pomodoro. The fennel breadsticks were also noteworthy. All for 48 euros. I will continue to thank those who recommended it to me. Absolutely highly recommended. Well done!

Sono stato con gli amici in questo locale poco tempo fa, devo dire la verità salumi eccellenti di alta qualità freschi e profumati, club sandwich di alici da paura!!! Profumatissimo, provola irpina stupenda, come primo abbiamo preso la pentola con le alici una prelibatezza unica, pasta tirata a mano pomodorini e peperoncino di fiume una goduria x le papille gustative, non potevamo non prendere la carne alla brace. "STREPITOSA"succosa morbida, cosa dire un locale dove ti fanno sentire a casa!!! Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole mangiare bene e sentirsi coccolato dall'ambiente familiare

Questo ristorante è situato nel centro storico di Ospedaletto d’Alpinolo, un piccolo comune della provincia di Avellino. Locale piccolo ma molto curato. Personale gentile e attento. Menù un po’ ridotto, probabilmente perché viene cambiato spesso, con alcuni piatti decisamente troppo elaborati. Carta dei vini variegata e valida. Il tagliere dei salumi (non tutti eccellenti qualitativamente) è arrivato a tavola molto freddo (sia il tagliere che i salumi stessi), come se fosse stato conservato in frigo per ore. Capisco il voler anticipare qualche preparazione per velocizzare il servizio, ma non è stata una scelta brillante. È un tipo di ristorante in cui ci si aspetta che i salumi utilizzati per gli antipasti vengano tagliati al momento per preservarne la freschezza. Tra le tre alternative di primi abbiamo scelto le candele alla “finta” genovese, molto buone. Buona anche la qualità della carne utilizzata per i secondi. Involtino di coniglio cotto alla brace un tantino asciutto; qualche salsa avrebbe reso il piatto più gustoso. La mousse al cioccolato fondente e marmellata di arance non invitante alla vista e poco deliziosa al palato. Prezzi un po’ alti rispetto alla media e rispetto alla proposta culinaria.
