Osteria del Gallo is a fantastic spot in Como and well worth a visit. We had the Ragù Bianco, and it was absolutely amazing—rich, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with great care and high-quality ingredients. Simple, comforting, and memorable Italian cooking done right. If you’re looking for an authentic meal in Como, this is a place you shouldn’t miss.

We came on Christmas Eve! It was beautiful. Make a reservation so you don't have to wait because the restaurant is small. Very tasty risotto, very tasty fussiloni, and roviola cheese. The staff is very kind, and always helpful with a smile. They have many customers, but still serve very quickly. The atmosphere is quite traditional.

We had a wonderful experience here. We ordered the local cheese, lasagna, and risotto, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors felt truly authentic and clearly made with care. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and fun, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for great food and a warm atmosphere, I highly recommend stopping here.

- Reservations are essential. We went for dinner one day and weren't lucky, so we booked for the next. - The food is traditional, the menu changes daily, and the service was good. The restaurant has a family atmosphere; we were surrounded by locals enjoying their dinner. We ordered the focaccia and two meat dishes. The house wine was very good.

We stumbled upon this typical osteria today by chance; we hadn't known about it before. After an excellent affettato misto, we treated ourselves to the fettuccine al ragù. They were delicious, and we also enjoyed the simple but palatable house wine (Merlot). We really liked the ambiance, although the seating was a bit cramped. The friendly and very attentive service rounded off the very positive experience.
