In the past I also came for some dinners during the week or on the weekend and I always had a good time, but even at lunch the set menu almost never disappoints, friendly staff and good food.

Hello everyone,
Yes, it's no longer the trattoria it once was. Now the service is more attentive, and the dishes are much more carefully crafted. I don't know how they do it, but they've improved the quality, blending traditional dishes with new cuisine.
Personally, I appreciate this change; for a few more euros, I can enjoy old-fashioned flavors revisited.
Change isn't easy; if you do it and improve, you're good.
Excellent prices, very high quality.
Highly recommended.

I went there for lunch on a weekday.
This is a popular lunch spot, offering both à la carte and fixed-price menus.
I tried the fixed-price menu, with a choice of two first courses, two second courses, and two side dishes.
I ate well.
The fixed-price menu is higher than average in the Bologna area.

The lasagna deserves an A+, and the other dishes were also really good. Both the manager and staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Sunday lunchtime, I'm expecting my usual restaurant. I've been going there for thirty years, and I know it's changed management often lately. I'm craving fried polenta with squacquerone cheese... the menu is always the same online, so I call, find a place, and go. There are two of us. The menu is completely different, and so is the service. There aren't even tablecloths, not even a placemat, which I personally don't like at all for hygiene reasons, and the cutlery is placed on a piece of porcelain, but on wood. The fried food is good, but then the unpleasant surprise... they bring it wrapped in old placemats with the food on the ink side... that's where they ended up!!! The prices for the vegetables are incredibly high. I order potatoes and I get six potato wedges served on a tile... €7!!! It takes an hour to be served, which is why many people don't book, and that's acceptable, but the customer should be notified if there's a long wait and then decide whether to confirm or not.
The old Bolognese tavern where you left full and at reasonable prices... no longer exists... what a shame, and fortunately, those historic walls cannot speak!

Last week I stopped for dinner... it's been a while, about a month, since I stopped, but that depends on the hours we have available each day... you can't choose as you please...
When I walked in, the boss wasn't there... his wife was at the cash register...
When I entered the dining room, I noticed something different from last time...
I asked the waiter for the work menu and he told me they no longer do the work menu in the evening (there were at least 6 workers in the dining room who then quickly cleared out).
In the evening, only à la carte... okay, I say... I had no choice, with the truck I couldn't move anymore...
To make a long story short, the usual tagliatelle Bolognese, two capon skewers, a bowl of grilled vegetables, water and no wine, a coffee... €44, to eat the same things I used to eat for €18...
I was really disappointed... it's not the €26 I spent extra to eat the same things Things, although objectively speaking, €44 is a bit too much considering what I ate...
After 8 years of stopping there for dinner whenever we had the chance, it was truly awful... I'm truly very sorry. A truck driver can't spend that kind of money for a dinner like that... oh well,

Great experience. We went with friends for lunch on Sunday. The house appetizer was fantastic and plentiful, the grilled meat was excellent, and the wine list was spectacular. Excellent value for money. We'll be back soon. Well done, guys, keep it up.

New menu. Aside from the (original) names of the dishes, the options are varied, especially for meat (which is the main protagonist). I tried the rabbit saddle stuffed with liver pâté and goji berries, but aside from the rabbit (really good), the pâté was nothing special, nor was the accompanying sauce. The pâté had a very strong flavor, and the goji berries didn't dampen the flavor at all (if that was the intention). The charcuterie board was good, but I still have to figure out what the bacon/lard pesto was for with the (fried) crescentine... I would have appreciated it better with tigelle (even if they were from Modena).
For dessert, we had the deconstructed cannoli, and I have to say they were truly delicious (excellent ricotta). It's a shame the menu doesn't say the topping is pistachio... (And what if you don't like it?)
Oh, I forgot... the 3 tagliata we ordered (there were 4 of us) were different sizes... now, if I pay €19 for a dish, I expect them to be the same size (at the same table)...
The wine list and the bread are excellent, and the service staff are courteous and professional.

Very welcoming restaurant, extremely friendly staff, and the hostess, Patty, was superb...but above all, we ate deliciously. I recommend the breaded steak with fondue and truffle...truly top-notch! We'll definitely be back...in fact, we can't wait to stop by again! 😉🤪
