We found ourselves there for work and we went without knowing him.....well a nice surprise!!! very good meat, very kind and polite service girls! Very good local beer, I recommend it!

The place is really very nice and well-kept. We ate out with 5 people, with generous portions and fair prices. Good and quality food. The snails are really very good. We were offered a small starter. Service initially slow, but then fair.

We went to the Braceria del crotto and had a great time. The car park is nearby and is located just before the private road that leads to the grill. We had dinner outside, thanks to the good weather which made it possible. The environment is warm and welcoming, the service was excellent. We found the appetizers delicious (vintage and summer cuddles), followed by the Fassona steak with potatoes and the icing on the cake was the final tiramisu, one of the best I have eaten. We ate very well and left the grill completely satisfied.

If they don't tell you about it, it's difficult to stumble upon it by chance, but it's definitely worth it! Excellent meat with a wide choice in addition to Valtellina dishes. Highly recommended!

Rifugio Luigi Brasca

23/09/2024: Il rifugio è molto bello e grande, si mangia benissimo grazie alla cucina locale e di Mirco e del suo assistente. Accetta pagamenti elettronici ed è dotato di wifi nel caso servisse. Molto comodo come tappa intermedia per esplorare gli altri sentieri della Val Codera, è inoltre famoso per essere la prima sosta del sentiero Roma. Le camere erano tutte molto pulite. Lo consiglio assolutamente! Questa valle è sicuramente la più bella che io abbia mai visto. Senza strade in cui si accedervi, l'unico modo per entrarci è a piedi. Questo ha fatto si che i paesini e i rifugi che ci sono siano un gioiello congelato nel tempo. Tutti ben curati e con la gente del luogo molto disponibile ad aiutarti in qualsiasi momento del tuo trekking.
21/08/2024: Lugar maravilloso y agradable. Después de un caluroso primer día en Sentiero Roma pasamos una relajada estancia en el Rifugio. Me encanta el Risotto: - )

11/12/2024: In Gerola Alta for a two-month holiday, I discovered the Ancora restaurant while walking through the streets of Morbegno. The "work" menu until Friday is very convenient and practical, at 14 euros including water and coffee... still very high and satisfying quality. At the weekend only à la carte menus, at honest prices, and I assure you that... you will lick your chops! Extremely friendly and fast staff, impeccable and courteous service! Living in Brianza, about an hour's drive away, I will also come once I get home! Well done, keep going! 💖
01/12/2024: Delicious pizzoccheri, the platter plentiful, varied and delicious, the sciat needless to say! Top marks, top Valtellina restaurant!
