Everything was superlative, from the service to the friendliness and availability of the staff. Each dish has its own story, and the staff lovingly tells about each dish. A gem of Puglia!

Perfect lunch as always. Giovanni the chef and his staff pamper and take care of every detail. You feel truly welcomed and loved in the ancient atmosphere of an old oil mill with selected high quality food, chosen with great love by the chef who also prepares a bread that is a true ritual, with special grain flours and seeds whoever arrives on the table to perfume everything. Open kitchen guarantee of quality, Michelin guide, the food of gems With concentrated and authentic flavors with a very special taste seasoned with the love of those who really do a job with passion, honesty and dedication 🙏🫶🪷 worthy of a star. From Lecce I go to Castellana to feel pampered and eat truly authentic and healthy food.🫶🙏🪷 Professionalism, quality and love with an honest quality/price ratio. Delicious amuse-bouches (it's French and, literally translated, means “amuse-your-mouth”.) delicious, like desserts...🫶🪷🙏🤗🥂 I always come back and it's always a pleasure, a rare form of catering. Extremely suggestive location, we were literally in an alley in the city. The menu is full of dishes that I have never seen anywhere else. The three euros of freebies offered by the house were delicious, then we had an appetizer to share, 2 first courses and 2 desserts. The quality of each dish was very high, the staff was competent and friendly.

We had the best time, restaurant and bnb were just amazing. Food was delicious, generous and veggie friendly, Giovanni and the staff made us feel so welcome! Francesca was super reactive and kind and warm, breakfast was a delish. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely come back next time we’re in Puglia! Thanks again for everything. Xx

Exceptional quality and service! For this restaurant Google should add the sixth star! Each course was presented and studied down to the smallest detail, an unparalleled concert of flavours! Well done!

A very nice place in this small citythe dinner was nice with traditional starter and a sensational risotto with shrimps. May be corect evaluation is 4.5. However it was a very nice experience. I recommend it.

06/08/2024: I deleted the previous review because it was misunderstood by the owner/pizza chef. Without wanting to create misunderstandings, I express my "non-technical" opinion. Pizzeria to RECOMMEND but... only "one" of the pizzas didn't impress me for 2 reasons, 1 subjective and 1 objective. Subjective reason: for me the sauce was behind cooking (not for the pizza chef); Objective reason: if we talk about the Vulcano with smoked burratina in the center, I found the burratina cold, very cold. And the latter remained cold until the end. The pizza chef told me that to manage the product they keep it in the fridge, and that's fine. I'm not saying it was inedible but the heat of the pizza and the cold of the burratina didn't match well. Does this affect the pizza chef's work? No. Does this discredit the pizzeria? No, it remains an excellent pizzeria. If you don't like the pizza right away, don't make my mistake of keeping it but send it back and explain your reasons. Food is not wasted but if you pay it is right that what you expect is also what you receive. "I wish the pizza chef and the staff much success." I hope the pizza chef reads it carefully because on this side there are no enemies but only customers who taste and sometimes like something and sometimes not. Greetings
