We had a great outdoor spot. The food was very good and the portions were generous. Service was excellent, and we felt completely at home. A top address in Messina! You can also eat early (by Italian standards) (from 11:30 a.m.).

An excellent restaurant adjacent to Messina Cathedral. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. The restaurant is air-conditioned. Reservations are recommended, especially in the summer when the city is crowded with tourists and cruise passengers. The dishes offered (both meat and fish) are delicious. The only drawback is that the ingredients on the menu are listed exclusively in English. The prices are reasonable.

The seafood dishes were very tasty, the tiramisu was good, the meats were a bit overdone. The worst part of the visit was definitely the house wine – very poor. Hence, one star less, because if it weren't for the wine, this would have been a great visit. A big plus for the terrace, which is clean.

We were craving Sicilian fish, and in Messina, our expectations were more than met. Fried fish, swordfish, and a spectacular meat with mushrooms, which, although not seafood, delighted our palates. The only complaint, but I think it was more a misunderstanding than anything else, was that we thought the salads came with the dish and not separately. In any case, everything was fine.

We found this osteria by chance, and what a stroke of luck! We wholeheartedly recommend it. The food is exquisite, the prices are very fair, and the service is incredibly welcoming and helpful. We absolutely recommend the pasta with swordfish, tomatoes, capers, and olives—a dish brimming with typical Sicilian flavors and aromas. When we return to Messina, we'll definitely stop by again. Warm regards from Poland!

Tra tutti i locali visitati qui non ci è venuta voglia di tornare, non tanto per il pranzo: costi e cibo sono nella media, siamo rimasti abbastanza soddisfatti, l'arredamento è retrò, il ristorante molto comodo, in pieno centro; ciò che non ci è piaciuto è come il titolare tratta i dipendenti, tutti possono sbagliare e vanno giustamente ripresi e indirizzati, ma non a voce alta, in maniera più che sgarbata e volgare e davanti ai clienti, non si fa. Ci auguriamo che sia stato un episodio isolato, soprattutto per il rispetto che tutte le persone meritano, indipendentemente dai loro eventuali errori.
