A small welcoming place with excellent food and local products. A very interesting menu respecting some typical dishes. Everything was delicious from the starters to the homemade desserts. Super recommended

I stumbled upon Osteria del Buchetto by chance, and I must say that it was an unexpectedly pleasant discovery. The atmosphere is that of a real tavern: welcoming, genuine and with a rustic touch that immediately makes you feel at home. The staff was friendly and approachable, ready to recommend the dishes of the day and tell us a little about the local specialties. The menu offers traditional dishes prepared with fresh and tasty ingredients. Each course seemed to be prepared with care and love for home cooking. Particular mention should be made of the homemade pasta and local cured meats, which are truly exceptional. The portions are generous, perfect for those who love to eat well and appreciate simple but good things. In summary, if you happen to find yourself in the area, I highly recommend a stop at Osteria del Buchetto. It is one of those places that you don't expect but that leave their mark, where you can really taste the local cuisine and have an authentic gastronomic experience.

What better occasion than to dine outdoors on a warm summer evening, but with a sunset breeze to refresh you and make you appreciate the bacchus nectar in the company of your partner who is celebrating her birthday? If you have the kindness and collaboration of the staff on your side, in addition to the cook who presents you dishes in a sublime way, in addition to the exquisiteness of the food, what more do you want? I don't usually recommend the dishes, I only post the photos, but the stuffed pig is a must try. Excellent wine list, but if it is your first time arriving in the Sagrantino area, ask the owner for advice. Thanks to him I discovered cellars of "small" producers that I would hardly have known. Fair price. When we return to Spello we will stop again at Buchetto.

impossibile non continuare a consigliare questa meravigliosa piccola osteria che, in estate, consente ai propri avventori di poter gustare dei piatti ben curati al fresco di una terrazza con vista Umbria. ottima anche la lista dei vini (molte etichette locali) così come i consigli del titolare (Massimo) davvero molto gentile e accogliente. a presto!

Loved this small osteria from the moment we entered. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Our hostess in Spello made the reservation for us. Massimo greeted us warmly as I stumbled through my very bad Italian. There is no rush here to turn over tables. We enjoyed a lovely meal at a leisurely pace. We started off with a litre of the house red wine. My husband and I both had the lentil soup -- lentils from Lake Trasimeno region. Hot and delicious. My husband had the Tagliata di Manzo with arrugala. I had the Papparadelle al Ragu Rosso Umbro -- Both were outstanding. By far one of our favorite meals in Spello.
