Osteria del Borgonovo In Tagliacozzo

The restaurant itself is cute and cozy. The food was good, but mostly average; they really smothered everything in olive oil (even grilled sausage which was odd). We had pasta, gnocchi, meats, and veggies. What really turned us away was the staff. Everyone was on their phones. The man cooking the meat, watching videos (out loud). The man at the counter, watching soccer on the computer. And our waitress kept getting on the phone. We even wanted a dolce but she never came back. So we left. Overall, we would not eat here again but maybe you will have a better experience!

Excellent restaurant in the center of Tagliacozzo, with a very welcoming environment, with a beautiful fireplace in the room always lit, capable of creating an atmosphere of times gone by and above all necessary for cooking excellent meat, very large kebabs and more, with beech embers (a not insignificant detail...). Super buffalo ham appetizer... Offering of very tasty first courses, soups, ground second courses (excellent local lamb, rabbit hunter style, loin, steak, sliced ​​meat and more in the most diverse variations. I must admit that for us it was a nice tasting experience .... Very relaxing environment to talk with friends in front of an excellent glass of red wine... What can I say?? Try it... You will be satisfied. Excellent value for money!

A nice place with a fireplace inside, a welcoming family-type place, the food is good and the food is excellent, I recommend it.

Familiar and well-kept environment, a super tasty menu, I would have eaten it all, which rarely happens to me, low prices and impeccable service. The wild boar stew highly recommended.

Lovely food, great setting but if your Italian language skills aren't great expect to be brushed-off by the serving staff. I think the Italian term may be 'liquidato.'

A sensational cacio e pepe! I also tried the truffle gnocchi, the carbonara and the ravioli... fabulous! If I end up in Tagliacozzo again I will definitely go back.
