The small place in the center is very nice. Fireplace and open kitchen. The dishes are quite good, the meat sauce and the soup are good. On the downside: expensive for the portions and recipes, small portions and kebabs finished at 9pm... which for Abruzzo is quite absurd. The dishes were good but the platter very ordinary. Portions not adequate for the price. I don't understand how we can talk about excellent value for money when the portions are small, the cured meats are ordinary and it costs €18 per serving minimum.... The lamb was so small that the waiter came to add it of his own free will

Typical restaurant in the center of the town. The entire outdated environment needs to be renovated. Fireplace lit for cooking meat, very good, but unfortunately excessively hot for the summer season. First courses of fresh pasta not made by them but bought. Good desserts. Honest prices.

The place is nice, it has an internal room with a fireplace and an external room inside a gazebo. The starters are excellent as are the first courses. The service is courteous and fast. Excellent value for money

In the center of Tagliacozzo where you enter from one door and from the other you feel the peace and see a small street, there is this tavern and the luck of being the only ones to be served, after a good appetizer of local products, to eat gnocchi with fondue and truffles and truly mouth-watering lamb cooked with sausages on the grill in front of us, all that remains is to say go and try...

08/11/2024: On the road to Pietransieri, there is this very well-known pizza restaurant in the area. I assure you that it makes excellent pizza, the starters are also good. Fast service even though it was full, affordable prices.

06/08/2024: We arrived a little late after we visited Campo Imperatore... Chef Tony was very kind, sociable and courteous... Even though it was already late, they were kind and we ate the Abruzzese kebabs!!!😋😋😋
28/07/2024: We booked for Sunday, wanting to spend a day sheltered from the city heat. Nice location, with tables outside, on the veranda and also inside: it is obviously a mountain restaurant and on the slopes, but taste has not been left aside either. We started with roasted pecorino: excellent cheese fillets breaded and fried, accompanied by balsamic cream, honey and fresh fruit. Excellent, more than the classic Teramo fried cheese we are used to Followed by gnocchi with speck, courgettes and saffron; very good and creamy (since I'm a goat, it was missing a little bit of salt, but that's my problem). Excellent aubergine parmigiana and wonderful grilled scamorza with honey and walnuts: all accompanied by sautéed turnips. Friendly, quick, efficient service which did not put my wife, a vegetarian, in any difficulty. With water and wine, the bill is €51 for two: it invites you to come back. We'll be back.
