Osteria del biliardo In Milano

It's the usual excellent place that we hope survives in this increasingly expulsive Milan...

The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is excellent (the girls are very friendly and nice, and if I could give it 6 stars, I would), and the food is equally good. I gave it 4 stars because I was disappointed to see the lack of an option when paying by card, and the lack of the option to leave tips for the girls, who were impeccable. The owner should fix this!

Typical trattoria or recreational club or perhaps today it is better to call it a “bistro”, nice place. Very kind service, young and lively staff. Nice menu, various choices, little space for only vegetarian dishes. Too bad about the price! €40 for 1 appetizer, 1 second course of vegetables, 1 ice cream, 1/2 L of house wine. I was happy to have come but the bill chilled me. Unfortunately this is Milan. Everything is overpriced, the choice to offer quality products is fine but the prices cannot fly that high. The place is not in the center or in the (bad) nightlife areas but we are in the Affori suburb where the rent prices (the item that strangles the restaurant) are a little more contained than elsewhere. Too bad!

If you are looking for a typical 70s Milanese tavern, you are in the right place! Osteria del Biliardo is one of those “sincere places” in Milan that have remained unchanged over time in their rituals and furnishings, in the menu and in the prices. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Villa Litta Park, it presents itself as a decidedly informal place, very large, with several tables well arranged and distant from each other where you can eat, play billiards or do both :-) the proposal of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, makes us rediscover a simple, tasty and high-quality cuisine! The nettle risotto or the mackerel parmigiana are for example two of the dishes that are worth trying. The place also has an outdoor space that is usable during the summer. It is advisable to book especially on weekends. Excellent quality/price ratio (among the best in the neighborhood) and youthful, precise and punctual service.

I didn't understand what kind of place the food was, well, I wasn't satisfied

We really like coming to this characteristic restaurant that maintains an atmosphere of times gone by of an old Milanese tavern. It is very pleasant to eat near people playing billiards, in a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The service is excellent, the staff is very kind, fast and friendly. The food is of good quality, we really enjoyed the appetizers but some first and second courses are also remarkable, I would like to point out in particular the coppa with plums, really good. The wine list is decent with good bottles even if some in our opinion are a little overpriced. Even the desserts are not bad, in fact... The cost is fair for what you eat. In conclusion, a truly pleasant evening, The advice is to go there perhaps on less popular days like Wednesday because on weekends it is always very crowded and it is a little difficult to make conversation. Compliments to the managers.

Locale stile anni 70, piatti molto ricercati e ben cucinati. Tuttavia non avevano gran parte dei piatti e delle bevande più classiche nel menu…

Excellent food, old fashioned location. Authentic. The nettle risotto is delicious.
