For this type of venue, everything is top-notch. Very welcoming, both from the staff and the atmosphere itself. The food is freshly prepared and very good, with just the right amount. An excellent experience, definitely worth repeating.

Total... informal atmosphere but without losing professionalism. Not to mention Giulia who is enthusiastic and friendly and engaging, it feels like being in the company of old friends.

An incredible find in Alba. An old-fashioned osteria: convivial with friendly service and exceptional food. We hadn't booked, but the owner managed to find us a table anyway. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

A mixed experience, alas, at Osteria dei Sognatori. Let's start with the food: I had the tajarin with ragù, the braised beef, and the bonet. Aside from the dessert, I found everything a bit bland in terms of flavor, despite the portions being excellent. The service was also good, attentive but not intrusive. The young waiter accommodated every request. A sore point was the menu and the final bill; for the first course, it was handwritten, with prices listed generically (e.g., first courses €12/14, etc.). The cover charge wasn't listed (so you don't know if you're paying or not), nor was the price of water. Once I asked for the bill, it arrived with incorrect prices (desserts were €6, while on the menu they were €5, second courses were €15, while on the menu they ranged between €12 and €14, ditto for the first courses). When we reported the error, we were told to "subtract €10 from the bill I gave you" (even though the calculations weren't correct, but that's how it is). It wouldn't take much, in my opinion, to be more precise about this, to make the experience even more pleasant!

...we didn't book and the sign outside was "full"... but the restaurant owner was very welcoming and seated us. The food was good and plentiful, with some appetizers offered by the restaurant. The price was moderately low, and the glass of wine...then he left the bottle as it was almost finished, but a good glass came out. My recommendation? Excellent.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was jubilant. Want a taste of Alba? This is a must.

we had an amazing lunch here today thanks to Paulo, Julia and Roberto the amazing pasta chef! We started with Antipasti of Fassone beef tartare primi of Tajarin pasta with ragu, and then Secondi of Pot roast and also Chicken Cacciatore Milanese. everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. even the vegetables with the secondi, roast fennel and carrots , were perfect We absolutely loved this dining experience and cannot wait to return ci vediamo!

The first and desserts were very good, with generous portions. My only small criticism was the veal tonnato sauce, which was perhaps a little bland. Otherwise, an excellent dinner. Even though we arrived very late, they sat us down and kept us there well past closing time! We were even offered a glass of wine while we waited 😊 Recommended, perhaps during less crowded times of the year.
