A place from another era. The handwritten menu on the placemats is iconic. The wait is quite long, the food simple and unfussy, and the portions are decidedly generous.

A typical Italian restaurant in Alba. Typical dishes, generous portions. I recommend the tajarin with ragù and the mixed antipasti. Fast and informal service.

A fantastic place. They served us very quickly. We were simply ecstatic with the plin and tajarin. The raw meat was excellent, and the magic touch was the coffee from the moka pot. A wonderful experience.

Very kind We went with two friends. The young lady who served us was wonderful! Top quality. Very generous portions, all made with genuine products. Prices are more than fair. The local liqueurs the lady recommended were delicious, especially the hazelnut one, which smells of chocolate and hazelnut cream. We'll be back soon!

Amazing place in Alba. The pasta was incredible, very light as I never eat before and so delicious. Convivial place and nice ambiance. I really recommend you to go there

I ate here based on the good reviews. It didn't quite live up to my expectations. There were various antipasti, some better than others. It's undoubtedly a matter of taste. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The Milanese was downright awful. The prices are very reasonable, so that's no reason to hesitate.

Un posto curato e accogliente, frequentato da gente del luogo e viandanti. Menu che va al sodo, senza tanti fronzoli e titoli roboanti. Il servizio è puntuale, veloce e gentile. Un posto caldo dove si sta bene e si può anche chiacchierare rilassati. Ottimi gli antipasti e l'assaggio di salumi offerto. Fantastici i tajerin con cipollotti e guanciale. Era tanto tempo che non mangiavo un primo così gustoso. Bunet come si deve. Ampia scelta di vini. Buono anche il Barbera in caraffa. Prezzo onestissimo. Complimenti ragazze e ragazzi, anche per il nome del locale. Consiglio vivamente.

10/08/2025: A restaurant with a terrace and a stunning view, very good food and service. I'm not giving it a 5th star because I don't think it's fair to force customers to order at least 2 courses (excluding dessert). Otherwise, a course would still cost 30 euros. The portions of the first courses could be a little larger.
09/08/2025: Lively lunch restaurant. Great view, service and the food were extraordinary good. Really recommend Veglio!
