Good food and very nice atmosphere!

There's little to say. Splendid people that it can already be enough to just have met, quality of food rated 10, refined and high-quality wine list and where you can't reach they will take care of making you drink better than you could hope to do on your own, honest prices that can't be more honest. In recent years I can't remember a place where I had such a good dinner and that I can compare with the evening just passed. I'm happy that they recommended me to have dinner here, the 3 hours spent with these guys were the most real and beautiful ever. Thank you very much, I hope to see you soon

Small and characteristic tavern in Alba offering a typical Langhe menu. The dishes are really appetizing. Thanks to the staff, everyone was very kind and nice. Absolutely worth trying

Today we were there by chance, we were passing through Alba, we were welcomed by Paolo, we waited 10 minutes, as the tavern was full, given the time, after 1pm, and above all without a reservation. We are nearby on the blue lines, free between 12.30pm and 2.00pm (central area), the other hours €0.90 per hour. We and our girls appreciated: 2 starters of raw fassona meat 2 tajarin with meat sauce (licked the plate) 1 leek and bacon tajarin 1 ravioli "plin" butter and sage 1 roast beef with cabbage (The baked cabbage and the braised cream used to season the meat are exceptional) 1 tiramisu (exceptional, good and not heavy) 1 panna cotta 1 glass of Nebbiolo 1 glass of dessert 2 sparkling water 2 coffees in "bicerin" Total €80 All to our taste, from the informal service to the location of a real tavern with old-fashioned tables and chairs, paper tablecloths and Duralex glasses, what is based on substance is like this. I forgot the hand-rolled breadsticks are good. We will definitely return...

If you are in Alba, you can't miss trying this tavern. Basic, but with excellent value for money.

You have to love him. Rustic place and not in the sense of decor, but in the sense of passion without too much attention to formality and appearance. Remember that it is a tavern, not a restaurant, keep that in mind! Good wine list, also available by the glass. Very special mocha coffee. Don't book, arrive and wait your turn, possibly with a smile as the staff is already going full speed without you putting pressure on them!:)

Iniziamo dall'ambiente (nel titolo il bello). Locale tipico, arredato come si conviene ad una tipica Osteria. Un ambiente che ti mette subito a tuo agio. Nei tavoli, ogni genere di clientela, formale e signorile. Gruppi di giovani, coppie,famiglie e tavoli condivisi. E poi la cucina è top. Pochi piatti nel menù, ma di una bontà eccelsa. Materie prime di ottima qualità. Provato i capunet, l'insalata russa, una buonissima zuppa di ceci, dei tajarin al cavolo nero e un ottimo pollo alla cacciatora. Sui vini fatevi consigliare dal simpaticissimo e preparatissimo titolare. Buoni i dolci tipici piemontesi. Servizio ai tavoli con personale attento e gentile.Un ottimo luogo in cui ci si sente a proprio agio e dove troverete una ristorazione sopra alla media. Consigliatissimo

Antipasti: carne cruda fantastica, roastbeaf molto unto, non un granchè... Mi aspettavo il vitello tonnato e sono stato molto deluso a non averlo trovato... Tajarin al ragù con quasi niente pomodoro ed un sapore da mensa aziendale... non cattivi ma non da tornarci apposta solo per quello... Servizio ottimo, visto il baillame che c'era e che gli avventori a momenti dovevano sedersi uno in braccio all'altro a causa della mancanza di spazio... Vino della casa (barbera) bah, meglio non parlarne. Dolci quattro in croce. mah...
