Very good food and very attentive staff. The place is narrow and a bit noisy.

Small and cozy place. Attentive and friendly service. I chose the tasting menu, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent aperitif with Campari and saffron. Fantastic cotechino with zabaglione and crispy lentils. Very good fried pizza with pulled ossobuco and gremolata. Interesting risotto in white sauce with saffron spheres. Fantastic cassoulet Wellington. Caramelized pear and wonderful sweet cheese mousse. I finished with an excellent Ebo Lebo bitter. I really enjoyed it. It's a place I'd happily return to. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely worth a try. Everything Milanese: tongue, brain, cassoeula, risotto, and ossobuco. All excellent. The wine list is from Lombardy and Piedmont. Not to be missed. Enjoy.

I stand by my review from 4 years ago: excellent Milanese cuisine, sometimes revisited with a modern twist, in a very elegant setting. The staff is very friendly and the prices are fair.

Trattoria milanese arricchita di fotografie di personaggi famosi della milanesità (Gaber, Iannacci, Mazzola e Rivera ecc.) serve piatti di buona qualità, dai mondeghili ai nervetti, ai più famosi risotti della tradizione. Noi abbiamo preso "el ris giald del dì dopu" oltre alla classica cotoletta alla milanese e ci siamo trovati bene. Buona la qualità, i prezzi sono nella fascia medio/alta. Disponibilità e cortesia da parte del personale.

Locale raccolto e molto caratteristico, con tavoli ravvicinati che però contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera calda e conviviale. L’ambiente richiama con affetto la vecchia Milano, tra foto d’epoca e omaggi ai grandi come Cochi e Renato, Jannacci, Gaber… un vero tuffo nei ricordi. Il menù è un omaggio alla tradizione milanese: cotoletta alta con l’osso, cotta come si deve nel burro chiarificato, orecchia di elefante, ossobuco su risotto giallo, mondeghili, polentine e altri piatti della memoria. La cotoletta è generosa e ben fatta, i mondeghili sono gustosi, mentre le chips sopra la cotoletta e i peperoni di contorno convincono un po’ meno. Nel complesso, è un ristorante che sa offrire piatti solidi e autentici della cucina milanese. I prezzi sono in linea con quelli di altri locali simili, quindi medio-alti, ma giustificati dalla qualità e dall’atmosfera. Consigliato per chi vuole assaporare un po’ di Milano verace.
