We ordered pici cacio e pepe and meatballs in tomato sauce with fries. The meatballs were delicious, flavorful, and just the right amount of flavor. The pici cacio e pepe were a bit sticky and lacked the typical creaminess of the traditional recipe. Overall, the experience was very satisfying: the waitress was very kind, and the relaxed atmosphere immediately made us feel at ease.

The faded sign isn’t particularly inviting, but the reviews we’d read previously convinced us to stop. Inside, the atmosphere is simple and intimate, with just a few tables and only two customers present when we arrived, which led us to assume that perhaps the place works more in the evening. We were greeted with courtesy by a very kind and helpful young girl, who carefully followed our short lunch. The menu offers a limited choice, and we opted for an appetizer and a first course. The portions were very generous, but the water served was lukewarm and there was no cold version available, as requested. Overall, a decent experience, without any particular enthusiasm. If I were to recommend the place, I would do so more for the courtesy of the staff than for the gastronomic offer. A particularly appreciated gesture was when the girl chased us to return a forgotten fan: customer care that deserves a mention.

08/09/2025: August 30, 2025 Swiss couple We found this estate on Google Maps to find a restaurant that served very good food. Restaurant, Hotel: A large, beautiful estate, very well decorated, very chic. A very serene atmosphere. Unfortunately, we arrived at night, but there must be a beautiful view from the top. From the parking lot, a large, well-decorated path leads to the restaurant, where the rooms are on the side. Everything is perfect. Food: Started with a substantial tagliere with cold cuts, cheese, honey, and onions. Very good to share because it's a lot for one person. Fish of the day: turbot, very fresh, well prepared and well served. Very tasty. Dessert: an excellent chocolate fondant, very well presented and very flavorful. An excellent restaurant with very knowledgeable staff, perfect food, beautiful decor, very competent staff, and that day, musicians were present who sang very well and were very pleasant to listen to. The only downside, but nothing to do with the restaurant, is the access from Follonica. There are lots of turns to get there. I can only recommend this restaurant; it's perfect for spending a wonderfully quiet time and eating very well.
