Pleasant environment and very friendly staff. Excellent cuisine with fresh and high quality products. We ate very well, very special pici cacio e pepe. For anyone coming to these parts, I recommend stopping by and trying it.

Cena con molti amici, (10 persone), quindi menù definito Cibo eccellente, specialità sarde, con tanto di Mirto artigianale. Spesa corretta, anzi OTTIMO rapporto prezzo qualità. Lo consiglio assolutamente e ci tornerò presto

Pranzo infrasettimanale. Ottima accoglienza in trattoria casalinga. Pici cacio e pepe, un peposo eccellente ed una vitella a cottura lenta buonissima. Vino della casa buono. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

The food is really good.... but a note, I took a cut and found it quite tough, this means that the meat was not matured properly, so either they change supplier or find another solution... for the rest I ate well and spent the right amount

Talking about a place like this, now outside the standard mold, is a crime. you have to experience this tavern like this, with your eyes closed, and discover the charm of an original cuisine... It is mandatory to eat the suckling pig to discover that there is a higher level... Getting to know the manager is an experience because he is a special person....

04/01/2025: It doesn't have pasta on the menu and for me it's a serious lack but their assortment of proposals is exceptional, I really appreciated the croutons and soups. I would define it as typical and does not attract tourists where the risk in San Gimignano is always around the corner.
26/12/2024: Ecco finalmente una vera osteria che ne n si è montata la testa pur essendo in uno splendido locale nel centro di San Gimignano! Personale molto cortese e disponibile che vi segue e suggerisce Ottime le varie bruschette/crostini, così come la ribollita ed il mix di terrine Vini e dolci decisamente all'altezza Torneremo

09/02/2025: We stopped in this tavern after a morning walking through the snowy woods of Mount Amiata. Luckily we made the right choice, the duck ragout polenta was exquisite. For what we ate we spent little and I will certainly return to visit the tavern.
04/02/2025: And the second time I have the pleasure of eating in this place, what can I say is like being with family, super welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Food? Well, try it to believe it, the abundant dishes are truly truly delicious! The perfect place to spend a fabulous Sunday in the company of beautiful people and enjoy exquisite dishes! We will be back!!
