Every time we come to Elba, we make sure to visit this restaurant 🍴 The daily specials are always exciting, with flavors so well combined that you want to try everything. The chef truly knows how to surprise! 🤩 Whatever we choose, the perfect ending to our dinner is always the chocolate dessert - if you’re a chocolate lover, it’s a must-try! 😋 The staff deserves a special mention for creating such a warm atmosphere and for their spot-on recommendations. Can’t wait to come back! 😍

We came this evening without a reservation... Of course, there weren't any tables available... but they made room for us and our daughter. The service was excellent. The food in general, and the lobster in particular, was TOP-NOTCH... Due to the storm, the entire digital payment system failed... We had... who would have thought... not enough cash with us, of course... It was very embarrassing, at least for me... No problem for the restaurant... what we had was OK... the rest is on the house... I can only recommend everyone to visit this restaurant!!!!!

Good food, but some details could be improved We stopped by this seafood restaurant in the center of Porto Azzurro during an evening on Elba Island. The appetizer and first courses were truly delicious, carefully prepared and with well-balanced flavors. One unfortunate aspect was the arrival of the bread, which contained a hair. This can happen, of course, and the staff apologized immediately and replaced it. However, a small extra gesture would have been appreciated, perhaps a discount or something that showed more genuine customer service. In short: the food is worth it, but with a little more attention and care in the service, the experience could be truly memorable.

Traditional Elban dishes expertly prepared, with top-notch hospitality, service, and friendliness. Highly recommended.

I do not recommend this restaurant (update 2025). My girlfriend and I had dinner at this restaurant in the center of Porto Azzurro, where we had been a few years ago. The location is very nice, and the waiters were friendly, professional, and attentive to the customer's needs. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 desserts, 2 coffees, 1 water, and 2 glasses of prosecco, spending €144. The dishes are beautifully presented, the portions are generous, and the food is high-quality. The desserts are very good, especially the tartlet with Elba aromas (comparable to a dessert from a good pastry shop): compliments to the chef!! The only downside is that the service was a bit overpriced. We had a pleasant evening. I recommend this restaurant! Update August 3, 2025: We returned, but unfortunately, the quality of the dishes has significantly declined.

Ogni anno tornare a I 4 Gatti è come riscoprire un angolo speciale dell’Elba, dove il gusto incontra l’eleganza. Il locale si conferma un posto raffinato, curato in ogni dettaglio, con un’atmosfera ricca di storia e fascino: un ambiente unico, capace di raccontare molto più di una semplice cena. La cucina è il vero fiore all’occhiello: piatti deliziosi, preparati con grande attenzione e passione. Il fuori menù è sempre una sorpresa gradita e, in questa occasione, è stato quasi un segno del destino: speravo nella fregola di cacciucco… ed eccola lì, proprio quella sera. Semplicemente perfetta. Il servizio è impeccabile. La signora Stefania, sempre gentile e professionale, quest’anno ci ha accolti con un sorriso ancora più luminoso, reso speciale da un lieto evento familiare. E poi c’è Alessio, suo figlio: una garanzia quando si tratta di consigliare il vino giusto. Competente e attento. Un’esperienza che va ben oltre il semplice “mangiar bene”. I 4 Gatti resta un punto fermo, una tappa imperdibile per chi cerca autenticità, gusto e calore umano sull’Isola d’Elba

Ristorante scoperto per caso e grazie alla gentilezza e disponibilità del cameriere che per soddisfare la ns. Richiesta di cenare e essendo al completo ci ha fatto accomodare all'esterno offrendoci un prosecco in attesa che si liberasse il posto per noi.Piatti al di sopra delle ns. Aspettative e diversi dai soliti proposti . Simpatica e gentilissima la signora con la lavagnetta dei fuori menù giornalieri.Consigliatissimo da provare
