We ate well, but the service and the food did not justify the price we spent, very limited servings, everyone agreed with the quality but you couldn't go away hungry, even though you ordered the right amount for a normal dinner.

excellent quality food, freshness and delicacy. Fantastic staff, kindness and friendliness are not lacking. If you go to Porto Azzurro you can't miss it, I highly recommend it. Other than 5 stars, I would give you many more. We will definitely be back.

A great discovery of this restaurant where you are welcomed as at home. Friendly, family atmosphere and cuisine. Without reservation we were received. The owners were lovely.
A small menu that changes every day and where everything is fresh. We enjoyed ourselves. If you are passing through Dolce Acqua, go there!

Porto Azzurro è veramente una piacevole località, locali per mangiare ce ne sono tantissimi, alcuni sopravvalutati; I 4 Gatti è uno di questi per me. Locale chic, consueto menù "elbano" dove non mancano i calamari, i crostacei e il pesce fresco. L'antipasto di branzino con peperoni e funghi (champignon!) freddo di frigo, comunque se fosse stato tiepido sarebbe stato eccellente; i paccheri ai crostacei (o meglio, una chela di scampo) non valutabili; stoccafisso passabile; dessert (il loro tipico con le cioccolate in tazza ... di cioccolata) bello a vedersi passabile al gusto.
Il prezzo sopra la media, quasi 70 € per due piatti più dessert a testa e una bottiglia di vino in quattro.

I ended up there by chance on a school trip. We didn't eat inside, they were celebrating the 30th anniversary of the place with bread and grilled sausage in front of the place and I, with my friends, went to "scrounge" a bit. Everyone is very nice and happy to share with strangers, so excellent staff.
The bread with sausage was delicious, if I return to Elba it will be my first stop.

This small, family run restaurant is exactly what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant in Italy. The food was creative and amazing, the wine list incredible, and the service was perfect. This place was so good we ate here three of our four nights in Porto Azzurro. This is what we expect a great Italian dinner to be!!

In the central street of Porto Azzurro I recommend this small restaurant, with an outdoor wooden flowered patio. Dinner prepared with new proposals by a creative chef, both fish and meat based.
We chose among the advances an excellent 5-star monkfish cream soup and a pleasant dish of 6 anchovies cooked in 6 different ways.
Linguine with red prawns and beetroot, pleasant and beautiful in presentation.
Second course: squid with stewed red onion - very suitable for those who love strong flavours.
Finally, one of the best desserts I've ever eaten: a dessert made with a bitter chocolate cream to be eaten with a spoon.
Good level of service.
Value for money is normal for the Elba Island area

Un posto che vale sempre la pena. Abbiamo mangiato pesce, di ottima qualità e si capisce che ci mettono amore e fantasia. Buoni anche i vini locali che propongono. Personale molto gentile ed animali ammessi. Torneremo di sicuro!

Extremely refined and refined menu selection, the focus is clearly on the quality of the dishes and raw materials. However, something more is missing in the search for flavors to justify the very high price, overall good but not as excellent as expected.

An exceptional dinner accompanied by quality service. Taste discoveries, attentive service without being too oppressive. A perfect evening ;) Bring some cash for the tip because it can't be done by card and they deserve it!!
