I'll start my review by saying that the experience is definitely worth repeating. Refined and relaxing atmosphere. Very kind and discreet waiting staff. Balanced and very well presented dishes. The pigeon proposed with different cooking methods exceeded our expectations. Lots of choice on the wine list. Compliments to all the staff!

We had the great fortune of trying this tavern a few evenings ago. The venue appears elegant and refined. The tables far apart from each other give the feeling of enjoying an intimate moment. The lighting in the very center of the table is beautiful, as if to underline the importance of the culinary experience and not of the surrounding environment, as if the table were the theater of great works. We tried the Vit.Ale tasting menu, which contains the more experimental spirit of the two chefs, with a pairing of three recommended glasses to match the dishes. Each course was truly an experience, strong and highly refined flavours, unthinkable but very well balanced combinations. Service for 10, all the girls in the room were excellent, both for the presentation of the dishes and wine and for the attention at all times, always present but never absolutely intrusive. Total cost €350. Really congratulations!

Absolutely amazing. Family dinner with two teenage boys. We took the vegetable menu, what can I say, every bite was a sublime experience. We have tried several starred restaurants, including a couple of very famous ones, but from our point of view the Osteria degli Assonica beats them all hands down. Well done! We'll be back!

There are no words to describe the wonderful experience lived in this restaurant in a quiet village on the outskirts of Bergamo. Elegant and sober environment. Excellent service conducted with delicacy and great passion. Amazing food with a "crazy" tasting menu. Mix of simple ingredients and more refined ones, but without excess, expertly combined with each other. I left really happy and excited. Prices high but justified. I will be back!!

Today we ate at the Osteria degli Azzonica, an excellent experience, where we chose the tasting menu "The successes", for each course our taste buds exploded from the refinement of the taste of each course, the very refined place, the attentive service in every detail, we thank the Manzoni brothers and their staff for the wonderful experience, see you next time.

Ristorante Il Saraceno

11/02/2025: I went to this restaurant attracted by the "Gourmantico 2025" initiative. I was pleasantly impressed by the professionalism of the dining room staff and the truly exceptional dishes. Definitely worth a second visit. The only flaw is the toilet...it doesn't influence my excellent opinion on the dishes, but, in my opinion, it deserves more care.
09/02/2025: We discovered this place through the gourmet review, Location although close to a "busy" road, very well furnished and quiet inside, only a small misstep in the service and attitude of those who welcomed us to the table during the aperitif but immediately remedied by the kitchen, the dishes well presented and very good in taste and substance, good at maintaining high quality for the entire duration of the menu, which is not to be taken for granted...we particularly appreciated the scallop salad and the garlic risotto citrus fruits and prawns. We will definitely be back to try it outside of the tasting menu we tried. In my opinion, there is little room for improvement in the service and there is a lack of small precautions for customers... for example just one bathroom is a bit small, I would change napkins for drying (paper is fine but thicker and more divided otherwise more would be wasted) and I would put a hanger for the bags and a freshener for the room, toothpicks for customers etc..) but overall passed with flying colours... excellent for fish lovers.
