It is a very nice place with a cosy atmosphere in this little "hidden"lane, well decorated with many different paintings and "vintage" pieces that catch your attention.
Aperitivo was lovely, food was delicious, tasty and good portions too, good selection of wines, desserts and rare "wine desserts" to taste at the end of your meal.

Locale molto caratteristico e ben curato. Personale gentile.
Mio parere.

Sunday lunch without reservation for two. I tried the recommended pumpkin cappellacci with ragù and pasticcio... good but without praise and without sin... secondly the minimum choice did not allow me to try specialties. A chicken stuffed with sausage... the recommended wine was not up to par, acidic aftertaste and had been open for some time. The courteous staff and the environment are a bazaar of vintage objects, the walls overflowing. My wife and I liked the environment more than usual...

First approach to Ferrara cuisine, we took all three milestones: the pasticcio, the pumpkin tortelli with ragù, the salama with purée. All good although with the tortelli I would have preferred a stronger, more subtle sauce that would tone down the sweetness of the tortello (but those are personal tastes!). I loved the salami, accompanied by a super light purée that fits the bill, but the flavor isn't for everyone (for the first time, I recommend sharing it with a diner because the flavor is really intense). Wide choice of wines from small cellars. The sommelier was very helpful in making the choice, even if we then did our own thing and took an Albana: excellent! It satisfies both those who love white and red. The only downside was the bread (two of a couple from Ferrara): we asked for a refill and it was added to the bill, with a cover charge of 3 euros (it has never happened that a restaurant made us pay for the second basket of bread, and we go out for dinner every week). In any case, it is not a euro per head of bread that detracts from a €106 dinner for two. Cost consistent with location, quality and service, we left satisfied!.

I really want to compliment all the staff, both in the dining room and in the kitchen.
You can see that there is a thought behind this place, and the service is provided starting from this.
Excellent food, excellent presentation of the dishes by the waiters, excellent pumpkin cappellacci. Also nice place, very characteristic. Really good
