Lovely service and generous portions... a welcome change from the tourist traps nearby! We ended up going back several times during our stay in Florence. Big thumbs up for the incredibly tender potatoes!

The pasta was outstanding - I had “big spaghetti” with ragu and mushrooms. The service was a little dismissive, but we did go at a busy time. Great location to come from/go to the next tourist spot.

We stopped by around 10:30 PM. This location sits in a very lively, crowded area filled with bars and lots of noise. We chose to sit outside, which made conversation a bit challenging, but it was still enjoyable since everyone around us seemed to be having a great time.
We ordered two Aperol Spritz (€10 each) and the Ribollita (€11), a rustic and traditional Tuscan dish made from vegetable soup mixed with stale bread and “reboiled.” It includes cannellini beans, Tuscan kale (cavolo nero), cabbage, and vegetables like carrots, celery, and onions. Just a heads-up: it’s a very thick, hearty stew. This spot is one of the few in the area that still offers this classic Tuscan specialty. We also ordered a plate of crudo and Pecorino cheese, served with olives, peppers, artichokes, salami, and prosciutto (€22). Our total came to €45.
Overall, we really enjoyed the location, the food, and the vibrant atmosphere!

We sat outside in the sun and throughly enjoyed our butter and sage ravioli and Tuscan pasta with pepper. We shared a caprese salad together. They even had a special lemonade

Very hospitable staff, speak fluent spanish, english and can accomodate the preferences of the menu to adapt your dietary restrictions.
My only problem was with the steak that was vey chewy, however it had the smoky taste and i wished it was buttery and the type that melts in your mouth or less chewy. I prefer my meat pink.
Had another issue with the pasta mushroom that it was not a cream mushroom but rather a mushroom stew with very little salt if ever. The other pasta had a richer creamy and more moderate salt and green peas.
Pasta portions were somewhat on the small side for a €13 plate.

Excellent inn, very well located, with delicious food and very friendly, unobtrusive service.
The prices are perfectly in line with the quality of the dishes. Highly recommended.

Honest food at an honest price. Casual dining in a central location. We only came for a quick pizza because we had a big lunch earlier in the day. They offer gluten free pasta and pizza in addition to regular options. The regular pizza is also a thin crust pizza which we both like. The staff is genuinely friendly and greets you like a long lost friend but somehow it is so sincere. Not pushy but they just want want you to have a good meal. We saw some plates of pasta go by and the portions looked generous. A mix of locals and tourists dine here. Close to some hotels such as The Hotel Cavour, Hotel Bernini and San Firenze Suites and spa. Buon appetito. Grazie
