amazing food and amazing staff, but priced accordingly

We were welcomed like regulars, even though it was our first time. Amazing food. Cute place with a beautiful panoramic view ❤️ Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An iconic spot in the Bolognese hills. This osteria has been around for as long as I can remember, and I'm not exactly a millennial. The crescentine and cured meats are very good. The service is fast, friendly, and helpful. It's spectacular at sunset. A must try.

A fairly limited menu, but with excellent quality food. Watch out for the hornets.

The appetizers were very good, and the tagliatelle was a great starter. Good service. The prices might be a bit high, but I haven't looked at the prices in detail.

It's a wonderful place. We ate wonderfully, and the whole group was delighted. The owner, Marco, is a very kind guy. Delicious Spritzes.

But is that guy the owner or is he a waiter?

Authentic and simple, yet well-prepared and with generous portions. Informal and friendly service, in a rural setting, and pets are welcome...they even offered to bring water for our furry friend. An excellent oasis to escape Bologna's scorching summer evenings.

Ci sono luoghi che non si visitano: si vivono. Il Nonno Osteria dal 1900 è uno di quei rari angoli d’Italia dove la tradizione non si limita a sopravvivere, ma respira, racconta, accoglie. Appena varcata la soglia, il profumo del legno antico e dei piatti cucinati con amore ti abbraccia come farebbe un nonno vero: con semplicità, calore e un pizzico di poesia. I sapori sono quelli di una volta, autentici e decisi, ma con quella grazia che solo chi ha cuore e memoria sa dosare. La pasta fatta in casa, i sughi lenti, i secondi robusti e sinceri… tutto è orchestrato con rispetto e fierezza. Non è una cucina che vuole stupire: è una cucina che ti emoziona. Il servizio è gentile, familiare ma curato nei dettagli. Qui non sei un cliente, sei ospite. In un mondo che corre, Il Nonno ti insegna a rallentare. A ricordare. E a goderti ogni boccone come se fosse l’ultimo prima di tornare bambino. Grazie per aver custodito e onorato la storia. Ci tornerò ogni volta che avrò bisogno di verità nel piatto. Comunque 60 euro in due chi scrive che è caro vada a mangiare da un’altra parte

Una sosta azzeccata sui colli bolognesi! Locale semplice e tranquillo, perfetto per staccare un attimo durante un lungo viaggio. Le crescentine sono ottime e si farciscono come vuoi—una tira l’altra. Il friggione? Davvero super ✌️
