Osteria dal Nonno In Bologna

Classic Osteria that has remained practically unchanged since the 70s. Good food, and a characteristic atmosphere. Kind and fast service. However, the prices are exaggerated, once upon a time you would go to eat tigelle and crescentine to spend little, in the osterias precisely. And when I say once I am not talking about the last century, but until a few years ago it was the cheapest and most characteristic solution in the Bolognese area. Dal Nonno for tigelle and crescentine, water and a beer you will not spend less than 30 euros which is an exaggerated price, also considering that for example the cured meats are not selected, good stuff, but from the supermarket. A tigella or a crescentina cost 1 euro each, while once they brought as many as you want for the same price (and it is normal since their cost is laughable). In short, it is a recommended place, but unfortunately do not expect to spend little.

Ci sono luoghi che non si visitano: si vivono. Il Nonno Osteria dal 1900 è uno di quei rari angoli d’Italia dove la tradizione non si limita a sopravvivere, ma respira, racconta, accoglie. Appena varcata la soglia, il profumo del legno antico e dei piatti cucinati con amore ti abbraccia come farebbe un nonno vero: con semplicità, calore e un pizzico di poesia. I sapori sono quelli di una volta, autentici e decisi, ma con quella grazia che solo chi ha cuore e memoria sa dosare. La pasta fatta in casa, i sughi lenti, i secondi robusti e sinceri… tutto è orchestrato con rispetto e fierezza. Non è una cucina che vuole stupire: è una cucina che ti emoziona. Il servizio è gentile, familiare ma curato nei dettagli. Qui non sei un cliente, sei ospite. In un mondo che corre, Il Nonno ti insegna a rallentare. A ricordare. E a goderti ogni boccone come se fosse l’ultimo prima di tornare bambino. Grazie per aver custodito e onorato la storia. Ci tornerò ogni volta che avrò bisogno di verità nel piatto. Comunque 60 euro in due chi scrive che è caro vada a mangiare da un’altra parte

A truly authentic place right on the hills with a beautiful view all surrounded by very friendly locals. Beautiful casalone both inside and out, very rustic and spontaneous. Super abundant appetizer, it was supposed to be for 2 but in reality we managed to finish it in three. The first courses were delicious, I tried both the tagliatelle and the tortellini burro e salvia and also the desserts were really good. I will return very willingly

We ate very well first courses and cold cuts and desserts accompanied with tigelle and crescentine, perhaps a little expensive not for the quality but for the quantity of food, because there were many of us and there were those who ate and those who unfortunately were unable to taste especially the first courses, to try again with fewer people

Una sosta azzeccata sui colli bolognesi! Locale semplice e tranquillo, perfetto per staccare un attimo durante un lungo viaggio. Le crescentine sono ottime e si farciscono come vuoi—una tira l’altra. Il friggione? Davvero super ✌️

A tavern not far from the city, but far enough away for me to choose it. Ate crescentine and tigelle for two, the portions are just right. The food is fresh and good. Pickles and Modenese pesto are a must. If I really want to nitpick it is that I didn't find the possibility of having loose wine in quarter liters but only the bottle. I wouldn't be able to finish it and then at the moment we are with Salvini's new laws, drinking and driving has become even more inappropriate. It really feels like eating at your grandparents' house. the homely and welcoming environment makes the combination with home-made dishes an excellent combination for those who don't want to overdo it but enjoy a cheerful lunch. I recommend lunch because the view from there is wonderful and except for the fog, even the night has its reason
