Spectacular restaurant on the hills of Bologna where you can eat the best tigelle and crescentine. Suitable for birthdays and "dinner parties" with friends, especially during the spring and summer months to be able to take advantage of the outdoor space overlooking the greenery.

Unfortunately I only have to give three stars because the quality of the food is good and the service is a little rough but kind. Where is the paper menu still a big flaw? Eating tigelle and crescentine in Bologna, speaking as a Bolognese, has never been so expensive. Maybe we were stupid not to ask but if I go to a restaurant I expect the slightest indications! The crescentine and tigelle are really good, the ham a little too thick and prices really high for the portions of pickles, cheeses etc. In my opinion I see it more for tourists especially for the prices. Many things were not clear and the price was high. The place is beautiful on the outside, very narrow but convivial inside but I prefer to spend less on tigelle and crescentine and still eat well!

Very pleasant and excellent service. Kind to children and help in choosing food. Large portions fully satisfied all members of the family. The place is perfect for a walk in the hills and a little escape from the city. Nice view of green fields.

Fantastic food to say the least, you can feel that it is made with love and passion, typical Bolognese things, there isn't much choice because it only follows tradition, but the quality of the food far surpasses this and generous portions. An exquisite thing, everything made by them. And also note that the house wine is bottled, which is not to be taken for granted. The service was also fantastic, Mrs Laura and I believe the owner always followed us down to the smallest details and needs, with a smile and patience. The environment is truly traditional, almost like an old farmhouse in the mountains, with an outdoor garden in the summer and a breathtaking view of Bologna from the street. The very honest price. We were really very happy because after years we found a place where we can see that the customer is a "pleasure" and the food is divine. Thank you so much, we will be back very soon!

Naturally the 5 stars are related to the type of restaurant, I have been dining at Nonno's for over 20 years at least once a year. Crescentine and tigelle, various abundant cold cuts, cheeses (a few more pieces wouldn't hurt) squacquerone, various pickles and pickles. In summer there are also many places outdoors. I recommend booking. Informal service, as it should be, Bolognese friendliness. A final observation, the nitpicking of the house, acceptable, could be better.

Intimate and evocative environment. Good traditional cuisine.
