A cozy restaurant with a lovely outdoor area in a small Tuscan town. The service was consistently friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the surroundings with their old walls are very charming. The food was consistently good: the bruschetta with salami and sun-dried tomatoes was delicious, and the carpaccio was beautifully tender and harmoniously seasoned. The tiramisu to finish the meal was also well-rounded. Lovely little hidden restaurants in San Gusmè. Well refurbished in the Medieval village. Went there with my two small daughters and my wife. A perfect mix of fine dining and down to earth Tuscany style, with room for kids playing outside while you enjoy a lovely meal in stunning settings.

Quiet and cozy. The food was good, but not exceptional. We would have liked to have pizza, but that's only available for dinner in the evening. We ordered two bruschettas and a pasta dish to share. The pici cacio e pepe was tasty, but a bit too salty. The bruschettas were plain.

The atmosphere and the restaurant itself is excellent! Unfortunately, the food leaves a lot to be desired... The meat could have been better and the pizzas are simply not good enough. More specifically, the mushrooms used were canned not fresh something that we all found unacceptable.

Location molto carina all’interno del Borgo, sale interne con cripte a volta favolose, il cibo è stato di ottima qualità. Antipasti con affettati e formaggi buonissimi, così come la ribollita cucinata sapientemente e la guancia con riduzione di Chianti . Tagliata senza un filo di grasso. Buono il servizio e anche il conto adeguato a tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Consiglio vivamente !

29/08/2025: When the city is crowded with tourists and finding a table seems like a struggle, you always end up with a spot here. The service is quick, and the staff know their stuff; they're friendly and knowledgeable. It's an honest place; it's not a trap for outsiders; our locals come here, and the atmosphere is just right, without too many frills. As for the pizza, though, we were a bit divided at the table. To be honest, I thought it was good, but a bit light on the toppings—the kind of thin pizza that many people like, but still leaves me a bit peckish. Another friend, however, thought it was too salty, so much so that his friends left half of it there. Overall, the price is fair, and the welcome was excellent. For a pizza without too many whims, we'll definitely return.

21/08/2025: A place discovered by chance through Google reviews. Truly excellent food, typical Sienese dishes and grilled meat. Fast service. Good price (too bad you don't know the price of the dishes). Now for the downsides, though... - The menu is dictated verbally by the waitress, obviously without knowing the price. - Since we're tourists, a welcome aperitif is probably not expected, while at the tables next to us, with locals, it's allowed. (Greetings, meatballs, etc.) - The gentleman behind the counter makes sandwiches, slices cured meats, and simultaneously handles the cash from the till. - The bill is calculated without knowing what he's typing into that calculator. - The receipt, this stranger. - A smile from the black-haired waitress is appreciated. Overall, the place is worth a visit, and the food is truly excellent. I recommend it. But prices should be displayed, and the menu is a must.
20/08/2025: A classic osteria, the kind you pass on the road while driving, and your head tells you the food will be good, and it is. Exceptional and authentic flavors, very friendly and helpful staff, and excellent prices.
