As always at Paolo's you eat well and happily. Always a guarantee, every time we come to Assisi a fixed stop.

I went with my family. The restaurant is inside a splendid, very characteristic alley. The owner Paolo welcomed us as friends. We tasted excellent ham and cheeses from the area. the ragu pasta with truffles were loaded with truffles... the tagliatelle with Umbrian ragù were divine... the surprise was the guinea fowl with grapes... highly recommended...

Finalmente una VERA osteria con piatti tipici, genuini e preparati con cura! La materia prima è di gran qualità, artigianale e in gran parte (verdure, salumi, ecc.) di produzione propria. Il proprietario ci ha accolti con gentilezza e simpatia e speriamo di tornare a trovarlo molto presto! Insomma… un’esperienza di autenticità e gusto da non perdere!

Excellent service and atmosphere, the food was delicious, the price was fair, the only problem was the portion when ordering the piece of grilled chicken, since it came very little, but the seasoning is the best, it was the best pasta with truffles what we tried in Italy 😍❤️

Ristorante molto carino situato in pieno centro storico di Assisi. Il menù prevede piatti tipici della cucina umbra. Il personale è molto simpatico e cordiale. Da provare assolutamente il dolce crostata alla cipolla. Prezzi nella media. Secondo la mia esperienza assolutamente consigliato

Typical Umbrian lunch of excellent quality, excellent service, kind owner and attentive to every need. The place is a little hidden, but still marked by a blackboard on the main street. Price normal. I recommend 😀

Excellent culinary experience in the center of Assisi. The staff is very kind and the truthfulness of the menu can satisfy all tastes. Excellent wine to accompany the dishes.

16/03/2024: Overall good pizza and I would say excellent chips, the thing that bothered me was the service of a muscular waiter who is probably not in the profession, to quote a phrase from a famous film, he didn't have time to take the reservation, so much so he took it in three tranches, finally he couldn't wait to close the place he almost took the chairs out from under our bottoms probably his interest is outside the pizzeria, for the rest the Local and dated but before now I went there for the quality of the food but I think it was the last time
20/01/2024: Good pizza, I recommend it. The first ones were rejected, tasted several times but every time a disappointment. Better when Sandro was there. Just focus on the pizzas! A piece of advice... If you don't have what you write in the deleted menu.
