Osteria da Paolina In Roma

We had a great lunch at an outside table. Service was prompt during busy lunchtime. We waited for about 10mins to be seated as the restaurant was quite full. Great pasta, also had the meatballs with potatoes batter (like hashbrown) + desert and drinks all very reasonably priced.

The food was exceptional. The best eggplant parmesan and the best tiramisu eaten in Rome. The menu changes every day and the place seems very popular among the locals. I have nothing to complain about the service, but only for the fact that they forgot the pasta I ordered. After letting them know, I received something else, and to receive what I originally ordered, I waited 45 minutes. It was not pleasant. Finally, the waiter apologized.

Super lunch! We were looking for a place for a quick first course and luckily we ended up here. Excellent food, generous portions and kind, smiling people! Thank you! :)

Very nice address frequented by locals. Very good dishes and reasonable prices (8.5€ for pasta for example) water included with the dish at lunchtime.

The food here is so so good! I ordered the gnocchi and it was really fresh. The family which runs this restaurant is so sweet bd welcoming. I was struggling with the language but they were kind to enquirer how I liked the food. I highly recommend going to this place if you are looking for a local flavorful experience.

Osteria with typical Roman cuisine. Very crowded at lunchtime by the many employees in the area. Excellent pasta dishes, good choice of main courses and side dishes. There are also some tables outside. The place is very informal, but the quality of the dishes more than makes up for the spartan environment. Good service and welcome

UPDATE October 31 2023 Avevo già avuto il piacere di mangiare qui. Ma oggi siamo rimasti sbalorditi dalla BONTÀ del cibo, la CORTESIA, e l'esperienza in sé. Un gioiellino di CUCINA IN CASA - da Paolina ho sempre la sensazione che il cibo mi COCCOLA, mi ricorda l'essenza degli INGREDIENTI, come sono opere d'arte e allo stesso tempo SEMPLICI. Veri. I had already eaten here and loved it. But today all 4 of us (and they were BUSY BUSY BUSY 20 minutes after we arrived - 12:30) were DELIGHTED with the FOOD, the SERVICE and the whole experience. If you love REAL Italian food, the kind that makes you feel like you're in a Roman Nonna's kitchen when you eat it, the kind that HUGS you with its flavours, PLEASE BOOK HERE. This place is TINY, they run it as a family (= they never stop!). Despite this, if you book lunch EARLY (12:30) you'll get a table before the HORDES of ravenous local office employees arrive in search of a "food-hug" to brighten their daily €€€ grind.

Great restaurant with family cuisine, although the team doesn't speak much English, they are welcoming and communication is good. I recommend !

Un’osteria vera e propria: cibo squisito con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. È come se davvero si cucinasse a casa. Verdure splendide, tiramisu incredibile e anche i primi meritano. Ci vado con frequenza, senza esitazione. Consigliatissimo!
