Excellent tavern in Chioggia almost on the lagoon, at the Fondamenta San Domenico. The place doesn't have many tables so I recommend booking. Rustic atmosphere. The menu varies every day based on the catch. Well-executed typical dishes and delicacies that are difficult to find in other restaurants, fish tripe, fried scallops, Adriatic boiled meat, etc. Very friendly staff and fast service

Tradition, seasonality, catch of the day, hospitality, quality and price... everything perfect. In Chioggia, these essential characteristics for its peculiarity are being lost, year after year; but not here!
P.s. for those who write that it's a shame that the paper menu doesn't exist (or even worse with a QR code) you really don't understand a thing! It is a sign of daily purchase of very fresh raw materials! That one was caught last night, and that one is magic. Helloee!

Cuttlefish in ink with polenta, the polenta skilfully cut as if it were cuttlefish also seasoned with cuttlefish ink, the dish turned out to be a bit of a joke because I found very few cuttlefish. Asking for half a liter of house wine we received a bottle of white wine for 15 euros. There is no price list but you have to remember all the dishes by heart. The water costs 2 euros and is tap water, (microfiltered?)

High quality tavern. excellent typical Chiogiotian dishes with very interesting reinterpretations. Freshness and quality of raw materials of the highest level. Welcoming staff, friendly cheerfulness but also important notes of elegance characterized by great attention to cleanliness and impeccable service. Very fair prices and great care for customers. A very typical small fish restaurant where we had a delicious meal yesterday. Thanks to the Italian gentlemen who served 5 different courses at the next table, we were also able to admire the other dishes. Our starter, a salad with cooked very fresh seafood, the spaghetti con vongole, impressed us. The house red wine went well and for dessert we had a very fresh homemade tiramisu and delicious profiterole with a chocolate coating. We were served very attentively and will definitely come back. Thanks for the lovely evening!
