The fish was good, but unfortunately the execution disappointed us.
The pasta was too oily, not al dente.
The sea bass was good, but overcooked and so dry.
I don't think I'll return because I think Chioggia has better options.
And if I can, some background music wouldn't be a bad idea.

Nicola, the chef, tells you about the menu and the specials of the day. He's a real showman. We only had fish. The portions were just right and it was really well cooked! What can I say? We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed spending the evening at the restaurant. Good service, helpful staff, and a very unique and entertaining owner. The food was good. Good food and a lovely atmosphere.

The first course was good...fresh, quality fish. We all opted for the tasting menu offered by Nicola, the owner, and let's just say he didn't miss a beat. The price was reasonable. Recommended for anyone looking for a place where you can eat like in the old days...without too many frills...I'll definitely be back.

A decent restaurant, but the owner needs to reconsider his dining room staff. Watch out for the limited traffic zone (LTZ) that's always in effect at lunch and dinner, which increases your lunch price by €80... walk there.

I often find myself having dinner/lunch at Nicola's, and I must say that an honest person like him is truly rare. The food is excellent and the quality/price ratio is excellent. I will return to Nicola's every time I'm in Chioggia.
