Really very good, all the dishes were well cooked and the fish was very fresh. I really appreciated the fact that when I entered there was no smell or stink like it happens in some fish restaurants, I think also thanks to the freshness of the raw materials. We will definitely return! I do not understand the comments on the prices, fish is expensive even at the fishmonger and the work behind each dish must be paid for. I find that the quality-price ratio is more than adequate!

If there was a menu no one would be able to complain about the prices... quite high. Long waits. Really very good food.

We ate on Sunday 5 January 2025, I must say fresh and tasty food, we waited a bit but it was worth it, the only sore point was the ravioli with prawns and crab, they were four in number. Good but a little more wouldn't hurt!!

In this tavern you can eat very fresh fish that is cooked very well. We took advice from the nice gentleman who served us and we were really satisfied. The desserts are also excellent. The atmosphere is family and cheerful. Thanks for the pleasant evening.

Se a Trieste vuoi mangiare tipicità locali...questo è il miglior posto. Trattoria storica al centro di un rione popolare...mangi quello che offre il golfo in un ambiente familiare ed informale...numeri 1

Abbiamo preso 2 fritti misti di pesce. Non erano male ma misto significava che alcuni pesci erano congelati, altri freschi. I contorni normali. L'attesa dei piatti è stato un po' troppo lunga. Abbiano notato un servizio nervoso, come se la vista dei clienti fosse vissuta come una scocciatura. Atmosfera: qui comado io e i clienti devono rigare diritto.

15/01/2025: The review refers to the restaurant, I did not use the accommodation. I visited the restaurant in July, three days in a row, and we were enchanted by it! Beautiful place, natural. Nice and friendly service, we don't speak Italian but we speak a little English, we managed to communicate a bit with gestures! The best white wine I drank all summer! The pizza was also delicious, I didn't want to eat anything else!

31/01/2025: It stays open until late and perhaps for this reason the prices are not exactly cheap. The service was good but the hamburger with vegetables could have been better both in preparation and presentation.
