The restaurant operates two sittings, one at noon and one at 1 p.m.
Small but charming.
The "Bruna's lasagna" and the tortellini in broth are excellent.
Simple but very tasty dishes.
Good prices, but with those extra three or four euros per course, it's a bit too much.

Traditional osteria, excellent, authentic local food. Very friendly and approachable staff, making you feel at home and having a laugh. Excellent value, especially considering it's right in the city center.

This was an excellent local restaurant. We went there with three teenagers and the five adults. The staff was great Our waiter Allesandro was excellent and made the dinner fun. I had the bistecca and it was excellent and the tortolini in broth was great. There was a tortellini in a Parmesan cheese days le that was excellent There was a tagliatelle and porcini mushroom and a guanciale that was slow cooked with potatoes and it was excellent We had a great meal.

A tiny, traditional trattoria with a terrace and a few streetside tables.
Different lunch menus for each day of the week.
Fair prices and excellent quality.
I had a fantastic dip and a truly delicious baked guinea fowl, water, and coffee for just under €20.
Worth mentioning is the warm welcome and friendliness of the staff, qualities (unfortunately) not always common these days.

Charming. Historic trattoria. It's certainly changed since Ermes's management, but the atmosphere is still quaint and pleasant. Welcoming waiters and good food, especially the tortelloni and desserts.

Una delle trattorie più antiche di modena dove il buon cibo modenese viene celebrato degnamente. Il personale è gentile e paziente, ragazzi giovani come il nuovo proprietario che ha mantenuto fedelmente lo stile di Ermes. Piatti abbondanti e fatti con cura. Come sempre la scelta varia di giorno in giorno. L'apertura è sempre su due turni prenotabili. Adesso fa apertura anche alcune sere la settimana. Prezzi veramente buoni pur essendo in pieno centro.

Sono andata a pranzo consigliata da una modenese conoscente.. direi un grande consiglio.. mangiato benissimo, posto accogliente, rustico, come una volta..piccolo.. con una formula particolare.. si ordina tutti insieme.. cibo servito a tutti contemporaneamente... Ogni giorno un menù diverso... Camerieri veramente simpatici.. spero di tornarci .
