Osteria da Ermes In Modena

Pleasant surprise! I had read the very good comments and it lived up to it! We tried the tagliatelle al ragù, they were very good, but the tortelloni ricotta-spinaca e ragù, incredible! The best we ate in Italy! The place is small and cozy. If you visit Modena, you can't miss going!

A very small restaurant with great service and excellent food. The menu is very small, which is precisely why everything is perfectly prepared.

There were six of us for lunch on Sunday 23 March. Excellent local cuisine. Excellent value for money. Everything was very good, I didn't like the zuppa inglese (which was actually a defrosted zuccotto that tasted only of alcohol) But apart from that, the first and second courses were all superb. Delicious fried dumplings. Friendly and fast service. Small place so you need to book well in advance. We spent 35 euros each (a first course, a second course, two bottles of Lambrusco for six people, water, coffee and two desserts). I would definitely go back.

Ermes isn't a restaurant; Ermes is an institution, where you'll eat side by side with locals, all together without distinction. A traditional menu that changes daily, a very small, family-run establishment, and Alessandro, a host who takes Ermes as his inspiration. If you go to Modena for Bottura or any Michelin-starred restaurant, but don't stop by Ermes, you're not closing the circle.

Everything was really delicious! The staff, kind and prepared, made the experience even more pleasant. The authentic and informal atmosphere, typical of a real trattoria, added a special touch. Highly recommended!

New management that has managed, as far as I'm concerned, to combine the legend with the new that is advancing. It's pleasant to hang out with for this very reason.....even for a boomer like me 🙂

Una vera trattoria con una formula molto originale, il menù è diverso ogni giorno, piatti della tradizione realizzati con grande qualità, veramente ottimi. Il servizio è organizzato su due turni ed è impeccabile, semolice, rapido, professioanle, gentili e simpatici. Ci ritornerò per assaggiare il menù di ogni giorno della settimana. Corretto il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Viajar y comer suelen ser una combinación muy planificada; tienes poco tiempo en un lugar y quieres asegurarte la mejor experiencia. Sin embargo, a veces, lo inesperado trae una experiencia tan memorable. Planeamos nuestro viaje a Módena, e hicimos la investigación, pero no pudimos reservar una reserva. Simplemente no estábamos seguros de qué día estaríamos en Módena. Caminamos en el almuerzo y nos dieron la espalda por dos de los restaurantes de la lista. Luego llegamos a Trattoria Ermes y nos acogieron! Al final de la visita, este es fácilmente uno de los mejores lugares en los que hemos estado en toda Italia. El lugar es pequeño, tal vez alrededor de 10 mesas, y estará lleno en cada servicio. Pudimos llegar en el último minuto para el segundo turno cuando la lluvia cayó. Ermes es el lugar más acogedor para comer con comida fantástica. Las opciones son limitadas, pero teníamos el tortellini en caldo y la carne de res / patata guisada. Estos platos son tan simples pero la calidad y el cuidado puesto en la preparación no se puede enfatizar lo suficiente. Asegúrate de comenzar tu comida con un Lambrusco frío, y si tienes suerte, al final cantarás “Fin che la barca va” o “Romagna mia” con los lugareños y propietarios.
