Hospitality and professionalism are undoubtedly standout qualities. Excellent and plentiful food. The colorful and clean place makes you feel right at home! Excellent value for money! And they've also become friends with our dog Camilla, who they've given plenty of cuddles and attention to!

The first barrier to overcome is to make a reservation. No reservation, you don't get in. It's a choice I can understand: staffing, supply, waste, etc. issues. Second barrier: being served wines by the glass from the menu. After two wines by the glass, we ask to try a third wine and are told that they won't open all the bottles (which are on the list, though!). So we take the second wine again, and the waiter arrives with a brand-new bottle, which he opens for us. Opening this wine or another ultimately made no difference! We ask for two glasses of Sciacchetra, the local specialty, for dessert, and are given the excuse that there are none left. The waiter is not credible. Clearly, he doesn't want to open a bottle that is, however, on his wine list (bottle AND glass). After paying, practically leaving, and then returning to go to the bathroom, I see the waiter bring out a bottle of sweet wine. He realizes I'm giving you everything. He then offers us a complimentary drink. The gesture is generous, but it's not sincere. Here, the clientele is almost exclusively Italian and local. The locals are warmly welcomed like family, but it's a different story for tourists. And we feel it throughout our meal. Clearly, we're not welcome. The entire service reflects this. And it's a shame because the quality of the food is exceptional. Several typical dishes are on the menu and clearly identified. They're delicious and the presentation is impeccable. Of everything we saw and tried in La Spezia and the Cinque Terre, this is by far the best place for food. Shall we go? Yes, for the food, the prices (prices for Italians and not inflated for tourists), and the wine list, which gives pride of place to local wines and is very affordable. No, for the service and the clear message: this is not the place for tourists. It's up to you to decide which wins! But one thing is certain: if you want to go, you MUST book!

Fabulous food. The seafood spaghetti was delicious. The fried food was top-notch. The pesto trofoa was truly excellent. We could have eaten the millefeuille by the kilo. Definitely recommended.

You don't always have to travel miles to eat good seafood and what's more, when I come here I feel like I'm at the seaside while staying in the city because the location reminds me of the restaurants you find when you go to Lerici or Portovenere or Monterosso. The owners are very kind and the appetizers are my favorites.

With cousins from Australia, we celebrated our reunion after years. 4 seafood appetizers [8 courses each], 4 first courses, 4 desserts, 2 bottles of Vermentino di Luni, water, and 4 coffees. €200, everything was plentiful and delicious. Fabrizio was brilliant with the service. A beautiful memory for our beloved cousins.

Era tanto tempo che volevamo venire a mangiare qui, ma purtroppo nel week end è difficile trovare un posto. Locale carinissimo, personale gentile e preparato . Pranzo tutto a base di pesce ottimo e a un prezzo ragionevole. Grazie Roberto e a presto!

Frequento questo ristorante da almeno 15 anni. Quello che mi colpisce ogni volta è la costanza dell’alta qualità e cura del cliente che trovo ogni volta. Bravo a Roberto e al suo staff!
