This place has a mix of ups and downs, and I had high expectations based on the reviews and what I'd heard. Let's start with the parking lot, which isn't very large; there's a valet who can even park your car on the driveway. This time of year, however, it gets crowded, and after dinner, it's a real hassle. The place is nice, even if crowded, with very competent and friendly staff and quick service. The appetizer of fried gnocco and cured meats was not bad. The fillet steak wasn't up to par, especially considering the price. The total cost was quite high compared to what we ate and drank, and compared to other places of the same type.

La Taverna Del Villico

16/02/2026: Classic traditional Reggio Emilia place with a good variety of first and second courses, including vegetarian ones. The service girls are very good and fast. Everything is fine, I would say, apart from the background noise. We were in a small room with about fifteen people and it was difficult to talk to the person next door.
