OSTERIA BRIGANTI In Gallipoli

Wonderful fish specialties, very fresh and professionally prepared. Good selection of wines. A very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. It was a great discovery in the heart of Gallipoli's old town.

A true seafood osteria, like those of yesteryear, in the heart of Gallipoli's historic center, between the beach and the western shore. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a nautical style, and the dishes are generous and delicious, starting with the brigands' appetizer, which can be enjoyed with a wine from a wide selection of local and international wines. The prices are absolutely excellent considering the quality and quantity of the food and service.

Lunch is excellent. The food is very interesting. I recommend it.

Excellent location. We had lunch at this osteria during a visit to Gallipoli and had a very positive experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, while the cuisine stands out for its quality and freshness: the fish appetizers, both raw and cooked, are excellent, as are the first courses, all seafood and very flavorful. The desserts are also excellent. The prices are fair and the place is definitely worth a visit. Located in the historic center of Gallipoli, it is easy to reach, but given the high attendance, reservations are recommended. The welcome is warm and the service is attentive and professional. The menu, predominantly seafood, is not very extensive but well-structured and able to satisfy a variety of tastes. Despite the restaurant being busy, the wait times were more than acceptable. Good food, but the place is small and service can be slow when busy.

Today we were guests for a ceremony at Osteria Briganti. The restaurant is located in the inner part of old Gallipoli; a very traditional and typical little place. The staff was formal and well-dressed. The coordination between the various appetizers, first courses, and second courses was excellent, despite the number of people in the room. A particularly polite and friendly young man served us during lunch. What can I say? I highly recommend it.

This place was discovered online. What can I say? Excellent food, spaghetti with shrimp tartar and crumbled tarallo, the Topppp. The house antipasto was fabulous. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. The staff were attentive and the value was excellent. We'll be back with great pleasure.

Exceptional place, at the end of the main street in Gallipoli Vecchia. A quiet little place, typical of an osteria. Very friendly staff, delicious food, impressive selections, and excellent Salento wine. An intimate, non-chaotic atmosphere. I repeat, delicious seafood. Highly recommended. 👍 I've been here twice already, and I think it'll be a place to come back next time.
