I enjoyed the dishes of the day, especially the black cheese and pepper tortelloni. Simple and courteous family environment. The historic tavern of the neighborhood, with various signs of the times. I also appreciated the fact of spending a quiet evening, being able to converse with whoever was in front of me, which is not a given in overly crowded places.

PECCATO PERO' CHE OLTRE ALLA BELLISSIMA COPERTINA DI QUESTO LIBRO DI STORIA, CI SIANO PAGINE MANCANTI... IL MENU E' TRADIZIONALE MA POCO CURATO, IL LOCALE E' RETRO' MA ABBANDONATO A SE STESSO, LE PORZIONI SONO RISICATE, L'ASSORTIMENTO DEI VINI E' ESOSO E SCADENTE ED ALLA FINE IL RAPPORTO QUALITA'/PREZZO NON TI INVOGLIA A TORNARE IN QUESTO POSTO, CHE INVECE ANDREBBE PRESERVATO E CONSERVATO PER ALTRI 65 ANNI

I was born in Cyrenaica, a few meters from the tavern. I had never been there and I don't know why. I really liked everything. It's a blast from the past! And I ate well. I definitely want to go back.

The food is always delicious, the staff very friendly, the place is so traditional in terms of environment and atmosphere that it makes me sick, just a proper tavern. In the heart of the most beautiful neighborhood in Bologna :-) Well done!

This is a week late my apologies… so me and my boyfriend were staying local and decided to go to a local restaurant before our flight the next day and the people there were so friendly, so welcoming and really made us feel comfortable. So we had the antipasto as starter, then both the special pasta dishes that weren’t on the menu, mine was black tortellini filled with cheese and rosemary, my boyfriend had the tagliatelle ragu with porcini mushrooms and they smelled divine and tasted superb. I loved my boyfriend’s dish so much that I’ve bought myself porcini mushrooms at home in the UK! We both had the bolognese cutlet (pork cutlet topped with Parmesan and Prosciutto) and for a boyfriend who thinks peas are ‘green earth circles’ and despises them at all costs, we ate everything. We wish we trained ourselves into how Italians love to dine because I regret not having space for dessert. Beautiful place with beautiful people, everything I love about Italy, thank you! ❤️

One of the few places where 5 stars aren't enough. Traditional osteria, good food, kind service but the mood beat everything else. If you want a cozy heart warming dinner this is the place to go.

In una calda serata bolognese, provo a chiamare in questo posto in cui non ero mai stato..giorno di riapertura post ferie! Osteria Bolognese (B maiuscola a proposito), attendendo il tavolo faccio una piacevolissima chiacchierata con un signore al tavolo all'entrata..Cibo, vino, ambiente, staff, servizio, tempistiche..tutto assolutamente Perfetto! Sicuramente ci tornerò più e più volte... Infine scopro che quel signore all'entrata è il proprietario quindi ancora un'altra nota positiva a queste Osteria, a queste persone..
