A typical Bolognese tavern from the 1970s and 1980s. A small place where everything has remained unchanged. Good first courses and some interesting dishes.

Open late, they welcome you even after everyone else has left, and they find ways to offer you something to eat even when the kitchen is closed. A simple place, with long wooden tables and a very friendly and down-to-earth atmosphere. For people of a certain generation, coming here means returning to bygone times and reviving a bygone way of life, one of simplicity and authenticity. If you're coming here for a gourmet meal or a niche wine, this isn't for you. Places like this are for a good time, a relaxed atmosphere, good food and drink, but the focus is on substance. Small family run place doing a limited menu full of great food. Were recommended this place by our Airbnb host. Albi at the restaurant is a friendly guy, helped us book a table for dinner. Only ordered pasta as it smelled so good. The tortellini in brodo was fantastic, as was the gem pasta with sausage. Ordered two other specials of the day which were delicious. One of the best makes of our trip to Bologna

simply delicious, classic food with the best ingredients and top notch flavor, had a lovely meal and great wine, had our anniversary dinner here and would certainly recommend the bruschetta (spinach one specially 🫦) and everything else we had!! thank youu!!

10/02/2026: A very welcoming restaurant in Altedo, located inside a large farmhouse, surrounded by spacious grounds, a garden, and a pool. The staff are young and friendly, fast, and welcoming. We had lunch on a delightful, light-filled veranda with a checked tablecloth, a must in the best trattorias. The Bolognese menu offers a wide selection. We ordered a taglierini (a thin slice of cured meat) for two with pinzini (small crescentine-shaped pasta), a tartare with slow-cooked egg, capers, olives, and mustard, and a tagliata (a thin slice of beef) with sauce, baked potatoes, and fried porcini mushrooms. The Poggio ai Ginepri red wine from the Argentiera di Bolgheri winery was a great discovery. We finished with a millefeuille and a semi-passito (a kind of dessert) and coffee. We had a wonderful time, even being watched by a beautiful, very well-behaved poodle at the next table, who we later discovered was the manager's dog. Beautiful day, great music. We'll be back!
18/01/2026: I really enjoyed the food overall. It fully satisfied my refined palate, especially the Fassona Hangus steak, an absolute delicacy. Excellent service, friendly staff. A well-maintained, homely atmosphere. I will definitely be back.
