Service was very helpful in explaining menu even though he spoke very little english. The food was truly outstanding. Seafood was very fresh n vegetables like they came from his garden. Potions are good n the value is great. Best meal we had on this trip. The decor is simple. Wine is good table wine that he makes. Definitely plan on going back n trying other dishes.

I had the best seafood pasta of my life. It was perfect.
The place is very simple, unpretentious; it feels like a family-run eatery, and that's the quality you're welcomed with.
The portions are generous, but not so much that you waste food. The appetizers that arrived were all amazing. First, bruschetta on a platter with excellent cold cuts; then another platter arrived, this time with cheeses. I can't say what they were, but they were 10/10.
It's not a cheap place, but it's not expensive either. For the quality and the portion sizes, I thought it was fair. Don't hesitate to visit. I recommend it and I'll definitely be back.
The cuts of meat were cooked to perfection.

We discovered this restaurant by chance, seeking tranquility and escaping the more touristy areas of Rome. We were strolling along those wonderful cobblestone streets in search of gelato when we spotted the osteria; its owner was resting in the doorway as it was already past lunchtime, so we jotted down the name.
The next day, after visiting the Vatican and once again escaping the queues, the hustle and bustle of St. Peter's Square, and the throngs of tourists, we hopped on our Vespa and headed straight there. As soon as you step inside, you know you've found what you're looking for: everything is spotless, tidy, and without any unnecessary fuss. The owner is the very image of hospitality; he couldn't be more helpful and friendly. He makes you feel right at home, something that Spaniards greatly appreciate.
His son, Ricardo, runs the kitchen and prepared the two best pasta dishes my wife and I have ever eaten. We started with a complimentary treat from the house, two beers, and some unforgettable fried calamari (fantastic, on par with the best in southern Spain). The main pasta dishes were incredible, a generous spread of seafood: langoustines, calamari, mussels... The photos don't do justice to such quality. We finished with a wonderful cake to share and a good espresso.
We left with the wonderful feeling of having discovered the best osteria in Rome. Thank you so much for the service. If you're in the city, don't hesitate for a second to deviate from your usual routes to eat here. Absolutely essential!

It had been a long time since I experienced a restaurant in Rome that impressed me this much. From the moment you arrive, you realize this is a place that doesn't rely on pretension or flashy presentation, but rather on genuine quality and care. Every dish is beautifully served, with attention to detail that reflects both pride and passion.
The fresh pasta is simply outstanding—perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. Each bite feels authentic and satisfying. The desserts are equally remarkable: refined, balanced, and truly delicious, the kind that make you slow down and enjoy every spoonful.
One of the most memorable touches is the wine, produced by the owner himself. It is excellent—full-bodied, elegant, and a perfect pairing with the food. This personal element adds something special to the entire experience.
What truly elevates this place, however, is the service. Petro, the owner, along with his son Ricardo, provide a level of attention that is both warm and highly professional. You feel welcomed, cared for, and treated as more than just a customer.
This is a restaurant far from the tourist crowds, a hidden gem where authenticity still matters. Whether you live in Rome or are just visiting, this is an essential stop. Phenomenal in every sense, and highly recommended.
