Restaurant with typical local flavours. Quite welcoming restaurant and well-made dishes. The biggest flaw is the inattentive service (I received a double cutting board) and constantly monitored by the owner who will find him coming out of the fence to give orders to the waitresses. Good products and available for takeaway if you can't finish the meal.

Osteria with typical local cuisine.
The house appetizers are recommended, as they offer a broad taste of Roman specialities.
The first courses are a little subdued, but I recommend the meat second courses, cooked in the splendid embers present in the restaurant.
Very friendly staff and fair prices.
Good wine list.

We spent a very pleasant evening in this place after many years since the last time and I can say that the level has risen, while still maintaining the authenticity of the products and the generosity of the portions of the first years.
Four of us undertook a journey for 4 of "tastings" of the typical products of the Castellano and Roman cuisine, one of which was vegetarian.
The cold part consisted of a huge platter of typical local cold cuts and cheeses and the hot part which included beans with sausage, stew, chicken with peppers, Catalan sausage, stewed ribs, piadina with coppa and scamorza and bacon bombettes grilled.
The veg version had tasty variations accompanied by chicory, baked potatoes and mixed salad.
Over the top desserts, Aricciainbocca cup with fresh berries drowned in almost half a liter of Chantilly cream.
All washed down with two excellent bottles of wine from the castles.
Polite, fast and smiling staff.
If you don't have cholesterol or triglyceride problems, it's an unmissable experience.

the experience of the starters - hot and cold - was very high. I think the chicken sauce with peppers, the larded scamorzina, the grilled focaccia, the coppa, the porchetta, the salami with fennel stand out. The rest is still excellent but these preparations and these products make your eyes widen. Starters for two are great for three and it's a complete meal, it's hard to order again. Cacio e pepe to follow was absolutely acceptable, the pecorino had torn up a little but the pasta was pulled well and the general balance was very pleasant. Very efficient service, easy but not aggressive. House wine of competitive quality with the entry range of the menu and - like everywhere - much cheaper. Welcoming and cool environment (37° outside) without sudden blasts of air conditioning, majestic cured meat counter, classy tavern equipment with a touch of tradition here and there to warm everything up.
I'm not an expert on fraschette, I've made a dozen in my life, but this one seems to me to have the only thing in common with the others is the price.
Note: there were three of us and we all digested very well. Eating so much, so fat, so salty and waking up light is rare and relevant.

Siamo stati in questo locale più volte e siamo rimasti sempre molto soddisfatti. L’ultima volta ci ha servito Michele, ragazzo molto simpatico e professionale. I punti forte secondo me sono gli antipasti (caldo/freddo) ed i secondi di carne. Purtroppo i primi, seppur molto abbondanti e presentati bene, li ho trovati molto nella media a livello di sapore, poco incisivi, abbiamo provato sia amatriciana che carbonara (in caso, consiglio di dividere in due una porzione). Vino della casa molto buono, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.

Abbiamo preso le fettuccine con broccoli e salsiccia e quelle con guanciale e carciofi: entrambi i piatti, oltre che porzioni abbondanti, erano molto gustosi. Anche le due coppe alla crema con fragoline di bosco si sono rivelate eccellenti. Complimenti anche per l'accoglienza e la gentilezza in un ambiente tipico della trattoria laziale ma rinnovato di recente.
Ci torneremo!
