Osteria All'Organetto In Verona

Great menu, excellent food. Popular work locals.... for good reason.

A lovely osteria, with a very nice, well-kept, and characteristic atmosphere. I'm not giving it top marks only because you wouldn't expect such high prices from a place that calls itself an osteria.

Very positive experience, delicious food!

From the entrance overlooking Piazza Corrubbio, the heart of the nightlife in the shadow of the bell tower of the Abbey of San Zeno, you descend into the underground room, with ancient brick vaults and stone walls. The menu commends the location, with enticing fish options (our choices: rice of the day with squid ink and confit cherry tomatoes; pan-fried baby octopus, with a final touch of bread crumbs in the stew) and meat (very tender picanha). Nominations also for the radicchio-filled ravioli. Finally, the desserts are amazing, especially the sbrisolona with zabaglione "like the ones from times gone by." An extensive wine cellar to accompany the meal (we chose a durello). The staff are very kind and hospitable. The first course was excellent!! Ciak!

We had lunch at Osteria all'Organotto on a beautiful, sunny Sunday, so we enjoyed the pleasant outdoor space overlooking Piazza Corrubbio. The menu offers a select selection of dishes, but judging by what we tasted, all were carefully prepared using top-quality ingredients. We tried fresh macaroni with stewed leeks and crispy speck, the house-made ramen (truly remarkable), tiramisu, and sbrisolona. Everything was delicious, served promptly and courteously. We'll be back!
