Very good, fresh food. 👌The chef is very friendly and attentive, and will even explain the menu in detail if you wish. We had tuna steak and ravioli with pesto. Excellent. Great value for money.

A unique Italian menu with unique dishes. They also serve pizza. The fluffy bread dough with a layer of tomatoes, bacon, capers, and onions was very good, if a bit crunchy. Unfortunately, I didn't like my spaghetti carbonara Friuli. The pasta was too hard (more than al dente) and very salty because they used a pork bacon with a peculiar flavor (not everyone's cup of tea). The Gratos Tiramisu was a very nice apology for the underwhelming spaghetti.

Great place! The pasta is excellent, as are the desserts. The owners are very friendly and so is the place! A must-try during your stay in Trieste!!!

We were in Trieste today for a quick getaway and were lucky enough to visit Marise. We immediately felt at home. The entire staff was incredibly kind and always smiling. The lunch was fantastic, from the goulash to the pasta and desserts.
I can't thank the entire staff enough for the wonderful lunch and for the passion they convey in their dishes.
When we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

Sono stato in questo locale con mia moglie, ci ha accolto un cameriere molto gentile, simpatico, che ci ha spiegato i piatti (come a tutti i clienti, senza mai scocciarsi, sempre entusiasta, ci ha consigliato sui piatti ed è stato sempre attento alla sala, quando apparecchiava si guardava sempre intorno per capire se qualcuno avesse bisogno di qualcosa, grande esperienza e savoir fair, gli antipasti erano veramente ottimi (baccalà mantecato, alici e sarde in saor), i primi (gnocchi con gulash e fusi al refosco) mi sono piaciuti meno, ma perchè non sono piatti classici, magari non siamo abituati a mangiare la carne e la pasta insieme.

Ero a Trieste con mia sorella e mia mamma abbiamo scelto questo locale perché ci è stato consigliato per la cucina tipica e la gentilezza … e così è stato bravi…
