Starting from the assumption that in my opinion one should show up at a venue with no expectations, I had a great time at the Baracca. And I say that I had a very good time before saying that I ate well, only for the fact that I have experienced on myself the importance of feeling well overall compared to just eating well. Pippone premise aside, let's get to the point: We had lunch outside On the beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounding hills of Monfumo: very good starter of fresh cold cuts, the taste was reminiscent of authentic and non-industrial flavours. I was with friends and we ordered a couple of ribs as well as a mixed fish dish. The tender meat of indigenous origin (Bassano del grappa) was cooked to perfection. We settled for the house wine, I think it was a Cabernet but I don't remember if Franc or Sauvignon. The aftertaste was sweet so I'm more inclined to think it was Sauvignon. The customers were younger than us, the communication language of the managers in all its aspects is oriented towards that target, but we older people didn't look out of place nor did we find ourselves out of place. However, I noticed some excellent quality labels in the Pantry inside the restaurant. Adequate bill €40 each including a round of coffee and half a dessert each, to take the average between those who ordered it and those who didn't. Abbiamo mangiato in una terrazza con vista sui colli asolani. Molto suggestivo come posto. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto di affettati, un primo con maccheroni, stracciatella e pomodoro. Per secondo galletto su un letto di caponata. Molto gustoso. Abbiamo mangiato 2 piatti a testa, speso 26 euro a testa. Con caffè compreso. Siamo rimasti contenti dell'insieme.

Amazing quaint trattoria in the hills of Monfumo. Staff very attention and went out of way to ensure our party of 6 accommodated. Food was delicious - risotto served with shrimp and zucchini the best risotto we have eaten. Mussels and Cuttlefish Stew also a highlight. Staff knowledge about local wine and the ambiance of this Osteria with amazing views is lovely. Definitely worth a visit. We will return.

Cibo ottimo, personale cortese e simpatico. La location è davvero carinissima, anche con la pioggia siamo state benissimo nella terrazza panoramica, i prezzi non sono bassissimi ma nemmeno esagerati e soprattutto motivati da qualità e quantità. Da provare assolutamente.
