Osteria al Torcol In Sirmione

The food was excellent, not your typical tourist restaurant in the historic center. For our first vacation as a couple, my partner and I chose to end our stay with dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very romantic, perfect for an intimate evening. They seated us in the truly delightful outdoor garden, quiet and well-kept, and, in my opinion, much more pleasant than the tables along the street. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The dish that impressed us most was my first course: spaghetti cacio e pepe with chopped pistachios and raw red shrimp—simply exceptional. The meat-based main course and tiramisu were also good, but the first course was truly memorable.

Very good produce, lots of local options, the tiramisu was amazing and the fish pasta even better, but without a doubt the best thing was the service. They are pet-friendly.

Everything great and an excellent risotto!

Another excellent restaurant in the old town of Sirmione. A large and rich wine list with many local specialties. Clear with quite a few dishes. Friendly and attentive service. Good information about ingredients and preparation. A lovely outdoor area. Very reasonably priced dishes. In short, a restaurant well worth a visit.

Highly recommended! I had lunch with my partner at this restaurant and we loved every moment. Friendly staff, very good food, local, and served promptly. The owners are very kind and know their stuff. The prices are in line with the quality of service and food. Excellent wine list! High hopes for this place after reading the reviews. Had a really tasty starter and my partner had a decent pasta but that’s where we should have stopped. I was recommended the fish of the day. I got excited and jumped straight on it. To my absolute disappointment when the dish landed on the table. Tiny bit of filet of some local white fish with serving of 2 different runny sauces. They called them purée but I’m not sure what purée it was. Fish dry, bland and absolutely tasteless “purée followed the suit” left £60 lighter and hungrier than when I arrived. Went for a pizza after. If you want to have a snack or on a serious diet this dish might be for you but for me as a main and all together was shocking. Been in Italy and a week now ate out 3 meals per day everyday and this has been the worst one so far. Staff really friendly and welcoming. But due to food I wouldn’t eat here again. Couple next to us left their entire dish and they had another complain about food while we were sat down for another table.

All the food was very good, but the real highlight was the jamón ibérico — absolutely outstanding!

Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati oggi a mangiare in questo bel ristorantino. Tutto molto buono e a mio parere ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, considerando anche il posto molto turistico. Quello che mi ha spinto più di tutto a scrivere una recensione è però la gentilezza e professionalità del personale che,anche in giorni di festa come oggi, non è mancata (non è una cosa scontata) molto consigliato!
