This is not the typical tourist restaurant but this is the real strong point. Delicacies to eat, helpful, polite and very kind staff.
If you want to eat typical Sienese food and want to spend some relaxing time enjoying a good meal, this is the best place in Siena.

Siamo capitati in questo locale per caso poiché ci é sembrato meno turistico di altri.. e avevamo ragione! La sala é molto semplice e spartana, ma forse, se si va oltre le apparenze, é proprio questo il bello. Prezzi più bassi rispetto alle altre osterie e cibo buono, genuino, semplice. Servizio casereccio ma molto apprezzato, personale piacevole e simpatico se ci si ferma a fare due chiacchiere. Abbiamo percepito autenticità e calore.

We came across this place by chance as it seemed less touristy than others... and we were right! The room is very simple and spartan, but perhaps, if you look beyond appearances, this is precisely the beauty of it. Lower prices than other taverns and good, genuine, simple food. Homemade but much appreciated service, pleasant and friendly staff if you stop for a chat. We felt authenticity and warmth.

On Sunday for lunch we ended up here by chance, a stone's throw from Piazza del Campo. Friendly and extremely courteous staff. We enjoyed bruschetta and first courses with Cinta Senese ragout. Mixed desserts and an exquisite homemade tiramisu. If you are in Siena don't miss the opportunity to stop here, 20 meters from the Church of San Martino.

Just 100 meters from Piazza del Campo. Typical Tuscan cuisine. Good portions, friendly owners. We enjoyed having such an authentic lunch.

An inimitable setting in the streets adjacent to Piazza del Campo, an atmosphere worthy of the reputation of Tuscan towns, and the cuisine as good as it is simple, a real treat!
The service is also extremely pleasant, very warm and makes you want to come back as soon as possible!
Special recommendation for the pici cacio e pepe, absolutely divine.

We discovered this tavern by chance attracted by the blackboard which only says Tuscan food and I must say that we ate very well, the pici were amazing not to mention the rest. More than honest price despite being just a few meters from Piazza del Campo. Highly recommended, kind and friendly waiters especially the lady.
