Osteria a stone's throw from Piazza del Campo, you eat very well, the service is excellent and the waiters are very friendly. My boyfriend and I came for dinner and with three courses, a dessert, wine, coffee and liqueurs we spent 60 euros. We recommend it for those who want to eat well and real Tuscan dishes

Very typical restaurant, not extensive menu but sufficient. The staff was very friendly, there was a family atmosphere.

It was like eating at a Tuscan's house! I had a lot of fun, socially and culinaryly, in this place that I found while walking by chance in the Sienese alleys. I stopped outside the somewhat anonymous building, attracted by the menu on display, and, while I was reading the day's proposals, a well-dressed gentleman sitting in front of the door advised me to go to dinner there, telling me that I would feel at home: never were words truer. The place is very humble but very clean, the kitchen is on the ground floor on the right, then you go up the stairs to access the upper room with the tables. I ate: - as an appetizer the crostini with liver pate, they reminded me a lot of the ones I used to cook too, actually quite delicate in flavour, it's not very easy to make the liver not too dominant in the preparations (besides, you know, I have tastes!), they were really good; - as a first course, spaghetti with wild garlic pesto and cherry tomatoes: out of this world, I had never tried this type of garlic and it was the best choice of the last few months. They tend to use tarragon for this first course, but it's not yet the season, so they opted to use this broad-leafed garlic with a very intense flavour, recommended for enthusiasts. The dish was visually very simple and delicious on the palate; -as a second course, half a portion (albeit abundant) of tripe. Excellent sauce, no annoying aftertaste, good consistency. I'm not a lover of tripe because it's easy for it to smell and taste too "visceral", you have to know how to treat it well and this one passed my meticulous palate and smell test with flying colors. -as a sweet vin santo and tasting of dry Tuscan sweets, one better than the other. I recommend seahorses if you have never tried them. Obviously everything was accompanied by some good "fruit juice" (house wine) and water, and then finished with coffee. The owners are very nice and love to explain the recipes and make jokes, among other things they advise whether to use pepper/cheese on the various dishes. The portions are super generous, in fact I ate, honestly, for gluttony and because everything was too good. The restaurant is practically in the main square of Siena, the cuisine is homemade, modest, the prices are very accessible: for everything I ate I spent around forty euros. I really thank the owners and the gentleman who recommended me to dine here (you will probably often find him in there, distinct and tidy).

Nice, kind and welcoming owners. Simple environment, simple tavern but for refined palates. If you want to eat very well in a place where they cook like your grandmother's, come here🥳🥳✌️

This is not the typical tourist restaurant but this is the real strong point. Delicacies to eat, helpful, polite and very kind staff. If you want to eat typical Sienese food and want to spend some relaxing time enjoying a good meal, this is the best place in Siena. Absolutely recommended.
