Osteria Al Gambero Rozzo In Mola di bari

A small restaurant with an outdoor veranda seating about 20-25 people, overlooking the Mola di Bari seafront. Excellent welcome: the owner welcomed us even after closing time. The food was also excellent: very fresh fish, beautifully cooked. Quick and informal service, easy-going; there are no waiters in uniform (at least not when I went, which was after closing time). Disposable cutlery, plates, and tablecloths, but I don't consider this a bad thing, quite the opposite. When I'm back in Mola di Bari, I'll definitely be back. Recommended

Fresh food and drinks, best sea food in area

The freshest fish, from appetizers to main courses, was all extraordinary. The raw fish was amazing, we ate very well.

We visited Da Tommy del Gambero Rozzo and the experience was truly enjoyable, from appetizer to dessert. We started with a delicious peppered mussel stew: the mussels were incredibly fresh, plump, and rich in flavor, with a sauce that was perfect for mopping up with bread. For our first course, we tried the ravioli, delicious and made with quality ingredients. The filling was balanced, with a sauce that enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. To conclude the seafood dishes, a generous and inviting fried calamari platter: the calamari was soft, not at all rubbery, and the fried ingredients were dry and crispy, a sign of well-made frying. For dessert, we chose a fresh and fragrant lemon sorbet, perfect for cleansing the palate and ending the meal on a light note. Friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent value: a recommended stop for those who love seafood cooked with care and without unnecessary frills.
