We came for a dinner (late) and they welcomed us anyway even though the kitchen was closed, offering us the pizzeria and that's it.
We ordered 4 pizzas, very good and served with efficient timing.
Nice and simple place, with a menu that allows for a wide choice.
We paid a fair amount for what we ate, I absolutely recommend this tavern.

Lunch on May 1st before the Vittoriale. Menu with plenty of choice. We opted for the first courses: casoncelli with butter and sage, pappardelle with wild boar ragù and gnocchi with duck ragù. 5 stars for everything. Generous portions and obligatory shoes. Highly recommended!

We searched the web for a restaurant and this place also came up during the search and I must say that the quality/price ratio is excellent. We ate well. Abundant dishes.

They saved our night!
It was 11 PM when we arrived at our hotel, only to be told at reception that the only place still open was McDon***. Desperate and hungry, we did a quick search—and found that Osteria Al Gallo might still be open. We rushed over.
At first, the bartender said the kitchen was closed. But then he looked at us—tired, hungry travelers—and said, “Wait, let me ask the cook.” Five minutes later, we had two delicious pizzas in front of us. And trust me, I’ve had a lot of pizza in Italy—this was the real deal.

Il locale é situato proprio appena fuori il centro di Salò,raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti.
Una classica osteria in una zona tranquilla del paese .
Classico l'interno,bello il portico e molto bello l'esterno.
Molto buona la pizza,la carne,i primi,le dosi sono abbondanti e i piatti davvero buoni.
Buona la birra spillata fresca da un ottimo barista.
Pier il proprietario é sempre pronto a consigliare al meglio.
Il locale é assolutamente informale
