Osteria al Boscarel In Verona

We had dinner, and it was an experience we'll always remember. We had Barolo risotto, the best thing we've ever tasted! Creamy, flavorful, simply perfect. We paired it with an excellent Barolo and, to finish, a delicious homemade tiramisu. Anna and Matteo's welcome was wonderful: kind, attentive, and warm. An unforgettable evening in every way: the food, the wine, the atmosphere, and the people. A place we highly recommend, and we'll definitely return!

Beautiful osteria, meticulously maintained, very intimate, and with truly tasty dishes. Excellent service, very friendly staff. I saw they also offer cooking classes on making homemade pasta. Worth checking out.

It's now my go-to place in Verona for good food and good wine; nothing is too much trouble for Elio, Matteo, and their entire staff, who will always try to accommodate your every request with a smile.

A welcoming restaurant near the Scaligero Castle, with excellent food and particularly friendly and welcoming staff, just a quarter of an hour's walk from the Verona Arena.

We attended a cooking class at this restaurant with Eddie as our host. It was so fun and amazing! One of our favorite things we did in Italy.

Matteo is so cute and sweet, we didn't realize he and his father are the owners when we visited. We came to dine here twce, and on our second visit, we asked for the branzino after our first option (suckling pig) was not available. The chef went out to the store right away to get us one after we were informed it was also sold out - have never experienced such service before! All the food we had here was so delicious. The wild boar ragu, risotto al'amarone, branzino (perfectly crispy skin!), and steak tartare were all excellent. As well as the pike with polenta and the desserts. A very extensive wine and selection, and they host cooking classes. If we have the pleasure of visiting Verona again, I can't wait to return to this Osteria. Grazie mille, e ciao!

Absolutely fabulous. We were here 2 years ago and had good memories, so wanted to visit this Osteria again. It was by no mean less great. The staff, the service, the food and the wine all was perfect. When we will be in Verona next time that Osteria will be on top of our agenda!

We arrived for dinner. We ordered a starter: crudo di Parma, served with delicious pickled vegetables. Bigoli alla carbonara: cooked with egg and pancetta cooked to perfection, not overcooked (as I've been served elsewhere). Branzino al formo, with its full flavor, is served with delicious baked potatoes. Dessert: panna cotta with berries, very good. Impeccable service, the waiter very friendly and attentive. He describes the dish as he serves it. Atmosphere: It's a very intimate place, on a very quiet street with little to no vehicular or pedestrian traffic, which allows you to enjoy the warmth and comfort of the place. There are four tables on the sidewalk and many more inside.

The staff were really friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The food and drinks were average. Nice place!

The dishes are decent, the service is good but the atmosphere is a little sad!!!!
