We had a wonderful time. We had the bruschetta and tuna tartar to start, then several pasta dishes and steak. Everything was wonderful, and my wife had a gluten free pasta that she loved.

After a long day of traveling, we went in and were greeted by multiple members of their Team. I wanted a Chianti, but my wife does not drink that type of wine, so he said no problem and opened a bottle for me (normally only sell by the bottle). He asked about our “likes” and dislikes and “ordered for us”. The bread was amazing (homemade, of course). When our pasta dishes came to the table they were amazing!!! My wife had the best truffle cream sauce ever and my seafood pasta had all kinds of unique local seafood. Absolutely superb!!! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you are in Venice, as this was one of, if not, the best meals we had in while in Italy.

21/01/2025: It wasn’t my favorite pasta ever, but it was a nice dinner to end the day. My friend and I walked into what seems like the other smaller part of the restaurant across from the main seating area across the alley? This wasn’t clear from any signs, but not that big of an issue. I enjoyed my spaghetti with clams!
20/01/2025: We were looking for some Italian restaurant in Venice that would offer chicken. This restaurant has a nice option of chicken curry with rice and very yummy lasagna. Also we received a dessert as courtesy which was lovely.

13/01/2025: Per la nostra famiglia con l’Osteria da Carla è stato amore a prima vista, tanto che siamo voluti tornare subito anche la sera dopo. Locale piccolo molto carino, gestito con amore per il proprio lavoro, i piatti proposti sono innovativi ma con tanta sostanza e soprattutto…Buoni!! Molto interessante anche la carta dei vini, con diverse proposte originali. Prezzi in linea con Venezia. Torneremo di sicuro!
