We went to this restaurant near the Villa Pamphili gardens yesterday for noon.
The oxtail stew was spectacular, the tagliatelle with artichokes, mint, and bacon were delicious. The macaroni carbonara was delicious. The service was attentive and fast. Highly recommended.

After some time, I returned to this historic restaurant in Monteverde and was pleasantly surprised to discover that they also serve seafood during the summer.
It was honestly a pleasant surprise.
We had a truly spectacular plate of gnocchi with clams and arugula.
Next, octopus carpaccio and superb shrimp catalana.
To finish, a truly spectacular sour cherry tart.
I will definitely be back to try other delicacies.

My husband cannot stop talking about this pasta dish. It’s the fettuccine with truffle. He said it’s the best dish he’s ever had in his whole life. He’s not a big pasta lover either. We left a few days ago and he’s already asking for us to go back to Rome. Give this place a visit! Don’t forget to use the bread to wipe up all that delicious sauce. Scarpetta!

The food is great! It’s as authentic as it gets. Spacious and classy interior. Very well priced and portions are good. We loved the fiori di zucca! That tiramisu was perfect — the coffee taste wasn’t too strong, it was indulgent, light and creamy.
The only issue was the service. It was very slow. We spent almost 30 minutes waiting for our pasta after finishing our starters. There were only two waiters and they were swamped. It took us multiple attempts to get their attention.

A well-organized restaurant, with fast service and very knowledgeable staff. The food is good quality, the menu is extensive; I personally preferred the Roman cuisine.
The only downside is the difficulty finding parking, but that can't be blamed on the restaurant.

Today we had lunch at Osteria dal 1931, on the recommendation of the very kind Giovanna we ate fettuccine with artichokes, mint and guanciale, for the second course the battered cod, everything excellent, kind and helpful staff, recommended.
