In the heart of Venice, finding a place that isn't a blatant tourist trap is difficult. Reading reviews, full of tourists raving about dishes made with plastic ingredients, is inadvisable. However, we immediately connected with this place. It was clear from the start that this wasn't just any restaurant, and the experience was beyond positive. Excellent mussels, Vicenza-style cod, and even gnocchi. It's certainly not the experience of a lifetime, but in Venice, at reasonable prices, I don't think you can find anything better.

A typical Venetian restaurant...run by true Venetians. Simple but excellent cuisine... The service was very friendly (they accommodated some of our requests for children). We noticed that it's also popular with locals... Highly recommended.

We went here based on reviews. Unfortunately it was our least desirable meal on our visit to Venice. Food was okay, service was okay, not a place to revisit for us.

Authentic Mom n Pop Italian hidden gem! We loved this place - staff, food and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for in Italy. This was our favorite place in Venice - tried to come back again but they were full, so time it early in the evening/late afternoon and you'll catch a spot. The absolute BEST pizza in Italy!!

Walked in off the street for lunch with my daughter and had the 'menu di mare' which was great: pickled sardines, a Venetian standard, along with a light, fresh tomato and prawn tagliatelle, and grilled king prawns with polenta. Food was rustic but good, great flavours, no pretence. The waiter was very nice to my daughter, and the place just had a good simple vibe.

02/02/2026: I discovered this place almost by chance, drawn by the name. A winning choice that exceeded my expectations. Excellent fish, the raw fish platter superb. The professional, highly trained staff make you feel at home with their cheerful, friendly service and great knowledge. The atmosphere is unique and very welcoming. I would call it a treasure trove of flavors. If you've been missing an experience like this, try it.
24/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant with great anticipation after winning four restaurants. As expected, we ate well. The restaurant was small but very quaint and intimate. The tartare was delicious and the desserts were very good. We'll definitely be back.

07/01/2026: We've been wanting to try the chefs' dishes for years, and it was a dream come true. The atmosphere was beautiful, very refined and minimalist. I found a great connection between the surrounding outdoor space and the restaurant's interior. Despite the unpleasant, windy day, the interior was warm and welcoming, a complete pampering experience. The staff was highly trained, very kind and attentive; we felt pampered in every sense. I can't say enough about the food. We love the chefs' philosophy of zero waste, and the seasonality of the ingredients is wonderful for us. I'd never eaten raw fish before this experience, and now I don't think I'll ever go back!! Just one word: EXCEPTIONAL. A huge thank you to all the dining room and kitchen staff. It was an experience we'll cherish forever, and we can't wait to return!
01/01/2026: A top-notch Michelin-starred restaurant! The cuisine is excellent and reflects the sustainability philosophy of chefs Pavan and Brutto. The dining room is very youthful, well-prepared, and welcoming. Guests are happy to exchange thoughts and words with both the waiters and the chefs. The cuisine is sublime, with a truly interesting approach to food recovery, waste prevention, and sustainability, to address the well-known problems plaguing the restaurant industry. A big round of applause to everyone for the special evening and the hard work they've done!
