Vegetarian food with many vegan options, all spectacular. The two of us had an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and two desserts—all top-notch! The staff were incredibly friendly.

I returned after five years without high expectations but with fond memories. Even after so much time, they confirmed what I remembered. A welcoming place, friendly, professional, and welcoming staff, and excellent food! Dishes are adaptable to anyone, whether vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-intolerant.

What a wonderful experience 😍 It really feels like one of those dinners where every dish speaks of the region! Osteria dell'Orto has a reputation for being a refined, authentic place, where you can feel the touch of someone who truly loves the ingredients.
The egg with pecorino and truffle flan... oh my, just reading about it makes you smell the aroma! 🍄🧀 And that farro folder your wife made must have been a stroke of genius—rustic yet elegant, right? The sautéed brown rice is a treat that few can do well, so if it impressed you, it means the chef knows his stuff.
And the happy child with the spaghetti with tomato sauce: simple yet perfect, the true test of Italian cuisine ❤️

I think what many other reviewers say is spot on - highly recommended., I could not find a better truffled egg starter in Umbria than this one in nearly three weeks (baked in a pecorino sauce). It isn't just the food, as the help with the local wines was welcome. On top of that the prices are competitive so you do not feel you are being gouged on price which makes everything taste better. We didn't have to book - perhaps by luck - arriving a bit off season on a quiet Sunday night before the promise of stormy weather. Plenty of public parking only a short walk away.
