Couldn't stay at the hotel as it was full, so decided to go for dinner. I might suggest that if you go, don't bother with a drink in the bar - disappointing. Don't be put off the rather circuitous route that you have to take to get to the restaurant, its worth it. Food excellent, service attentive but not crushing and excellent dinning room. Would highly recommend if you want to experience what could be called "fine dining"

Best dinner in Venice hands down! Lovely atmosphere, best food, and extensive wine list. Also big shout out to our polyglot waiter Samuel for conducting the dinner in Spanish. Truly remarkable!

While the service borders on excellence in its kindness and sincere attention, the rest of the experience struggles to keep up. This is a far cry from the standards required by the Michelin Guide. The setting, while charming in some respects, nevertheless suffers from a slightly gloomy atmosphere, as if the establishment were wavering between cozy intimacy and soulless decor. As for the menu, it stands out more for its brevity than its creativity. The selection is reduced to a meager portion, and the food, unfortunately, fails to make up for this lack of inspiration. The cuisine, while not unworthy, falls far short of the expectations a Michelin star arouses. The conventional dishes lack precision, depth, and, above all, emotion. We expected a sensory journey; instead, we witnessed a simple, forgettable stopover. The staff, smiling and attentive, remains the true strength of the establishment. But, on its own, it cannot carry the promise of a great restaurant.

04/01/2026: The place you expect to find in Venice, one of those characteristic ones. The cicchetti, one better than the other, are accompanied by an excellent wine. The truly courteous service is the kind you still hope to find in restaurants, but which is missing in many places. Friendly people who put you at ease and make you feel at home even if you're coming from far away. Congratulations to everyone, we'll be back and we'll spread the word about you. Thank you!
03/01/2026: A very quaint place, with a rustic decor, typical of a bacaro. Delicious and appetizing cicheti. There's little space for eating, so you mostly have to stand, except for a few stools. Good wine.

19/12/2025: I visited this restaurant for a company dinner. The exterior can be deceiving, as the structure resembles a prefabricated veranda, but the interior is surprisingly pleasant: the room is spacious, well-designed, and accessible to people with disabilities. The exposed wood-fired oven near the kitchen is very beautiful. The Service: Despite the large number of diners, the table was well-set. Service was a bit slow, but the wait between ordering and the food was adequate. The Cuisine: The menu is clear and detailed. I tried the tagliolini with lobster (a generous portion for three people): while it was a pleasant dish, I had serious doubts about the freshness of the crustacean due to an ammonia-like aftertaste, typical of older fish. The desserts, however, were very good, and the drinks were always served chilled. In summary: An overall decent experience, but I would suggest that the owners pay more attention to the selection of fish or adjust the prices to the actual quality of the raw materials.
