Orchidea Blu In Bari sardo

Under the guise of a quick and honest takeout on our way back from Nuoro, we visited Orchidea Blu; a trio of pizzas, "and we're gentlemen." Well, the dough wasn't exactly convincing. It was generous—sure!—but maybe even a slightly thinner one would have been better. It made you feel a bit nauseous halfway through the pizza because of how thick the crust (NEVER THROW AWAY) and the center were, a bit of a shame. The toppings were decent, nothing excessive or reductive, the classic "in-between" that doesn't do any good or harm. Service was just above average, wait times were reasonable, just the right amount; the owner was a bit impatient when you took a little longer to decide what to order... Neutral atmosphere, slightly confusing entrance, passable, let's say. 3/5 overall, nothing special or extravagant, the classic modest restaurant with pros and cons. - Mat. Honest review based on current events. A future response will be accepted at the owner's discretion.

Excellent restaurant in the town center, with professional and attentive staff. We enjoyed both the meat and seafood, everything fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

We stop at this restaurant every year when we pass through Bari Sardo and we are never disappointed....exceptional pizzas, traditional cuisine made with well-cooked local dishes....thank you.

Nice boss! Unfortunately the pizza oven was out of order, but the set menu and Sardinian pasta were delicious, as was the tiramisu!
