Opera Caffe e Tulipani In Bologna

I really like the decor of this vintage-looking place. The coffee is good, as are the breakfast pastries. I've never had anything for a main meal. The main attraction is the small outdoor terrace overlooking the Moline Canal.

The elegant and cozy environment, the kind old lady who helped me charge my phone, and solved my travel problems.

My new favorite bar!!!! It's wonderful, it feels like you're in a fairytale, not real! Wow!

The highlight is undoubtedly the terrace overlooking the river, which makes this place truly unique in Bologna. Unfortunately, the quality of the food seems to have dropped significantly compared to years ago. The service definitely needs updating (at least a "buongiorno" would have been appreciated).

The few times I come for breakfast downtown, I always try to pop in here, both because the various pastries are good but above all for the location, because the terrace overlooking the canal is truly beautiful. The inside is also cute with the piano and the furnishings, but I think the outside is something special and different, worth a visit... We had two mini croissants, one with cream and one with chocolate, both good, a ginger croissant, very good and soft, and a cream and black cherry pastry, very good cream but finding only one black cherry is a bit depressing... At least a few more or, in my opinion, also the black cherry jam with the normal cream... Cappuccino and ginseng cappuccino

The place has a truly unique character: the decor is eclectic, with a vintage and slightly Parisian touch, reminiscent of a bohemian home rather than a traditional bar. The small terrace overlooking the canal is a real highlight: a little "Venice" in the heart of Bologna. The menu ranges from breakfast with homemade cakes and brioche to more substantial dishes like tortellini and traditional pastries. Definitely worth a visit 🫶🏻

I had a great experience there and the sweetest company, the food was great and they accomodated to my vegan diet! I really hope that I'll come back to Bologna just to be able to go back to this place!
