I've often come to this place for breakfast, and especially at the beginning, I really liked everything it had because the quality was very high on everything I ordered and above all with reasonable prices... Unfortunately, things often change, and here perhaps for the worse... I come a couple of times a week with a friend for breakfast, the first time we got 1 croissant, 6 mini pastries but oh well... we started eating and I can say that the mini pastries were poor... I had one with cream, one with pistachio, one with zabaglione, one with rocher, one with chocolate and one with Chantilly... Unfortunately of these, only the small chocolate one with a white cream was the most acceptable... So they all failed. Then there was a small problem with the croissant. Initially, I asked for a croissant, and it was marked down on the receipt. When I went to ask the other girl which croissant, I asked for the hazelnut one. The lady told me I had to pay a surcharge because hazelnut and pistachio cost more. They charge a higher price for spreads they don't make, while the spreads they do make are lower, so it seems like a bit of a convoluted reasoning. Then, because I don't want to make too much of a fuss, especially since it's crowded, I paid the difference and got that croissant, which was very good, no doubt about it, but you can't differentiate between the different flavors, or do it before the bill because it's not at all nice to ask the prices of all the croissants to understand or find out the surcharges. The second time, knowing I didn't want the mini croissants, I got three mini croissants, one with ricotta, one with pistachio, and one with The hazelnut one, all three were good... As I said before, the pistachio and hazelnut ones are spreadable, but they're still good. I don't know if they make the ricotta themselves or not, but it's very good anyway. And finally, the cream and black cherry tart, which was very good and soft, so I was very satisfied with it. The price of each cappuccino was about $1 each, while the mini croissants were about $1 each, so not exactly cheap. Cute place with a lot of variety, too. I'll be back when I'm in the area.

We happened upon it by chance, being in the area for a dermatologist appointment. We decided to have lunch here. In addition to the super tasty off-menu items, they also have the regular menu, where we ordered two butter and gold potato gnocchi... amazing 😳❤️ Even the bread in the basket (grissini, carta da musica, and Tuscan) is varied and high-quality 👌🏼 To finish, we decided to treat ourselves to a couple of mini pastries from their colorful pastry shop. We didn't go wrong there either 😍 Attentive and friendly staff, but a special shout-out to the lady at the cash register who, seeing my oversight in not choosing the zeppola di San Giuseppe for dessert, promptly made up for it by offering it free of charge without hesitation and with a warm smile ✨❤️ Thank you 🙏🏼 so much for this gesture and for the wonderful experience at your place! But if I can point out a flaw, I've been a barista for 40 years, and every time I go to a bar or pastry shop, I always look at how they work to see where I can learn more or improve. This morning I saw a bit of displeasure. In what sense can even the smallest discrepancy be more negative than others? The fact that any worker behind the counter would touch the glass or cup with their fingers where the customer puts their mouth. Well, in such a sinful place, it's very elegant. I think they should pay more attention to the service. Even the most banal thing is the way the customer looks at me. I said this to the worker behind the counter, but I don't think my observation interested him, judging by the way he smiled at me. All right, have a good day.

The place is cute and undoubtedly the best bar on Via Irnerio. The service is good, as is the breakfast, which is good but not the best I've had in Bologna. Prices are average.

Superlative cream brioche, I'll go out on a limb and say it was the best of my life.
