Ombrea was our first night in Milan and it was a nice welcome to the city. Nicely designed, with a bar patrons may sit and enjoy their meal. Wine selection was good and my wife enjoyed her first glasses of Francacorda. Our meal was special with the bone marrrow, grilled octopus (was like butter and so flavorful) and marinated meat under ash all standing out. A potato and buckwheat gnocchi was interesting but not a favorite. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. Ombrea has a nice vibe and well worth heading to

I went there yesterday for the first time and will definitely be back. Refined cuisine, based on grilling (not grilling). For our main course, we had sea bream, and it was something special. The prices are very fair considering the quality and quantity. Well done!

That moment when expectations are higher than reality. The food is good, even while the creativity often doesn’t contribute to taste - I.e. the ash-cooked egg really doesn’t bring anything additional to your paladar. Ribs are good but lacking a better companion side dish than a marinated red cabbage. However, the main issue isn’t food, it’s service. The wine was brought very warm, we had to ask for a cooler. We ordered asparagus with the ash egg and truffle oil but they forgot the truffle oil and had to bring it separately. We were finishing dinner around 22:15 and were the only ones left, so the personnel started cleaning and collecting the rubbish. To say that we felt weird and unwelcomed is to say nothing. No one, including the chef who was actually working there in an opened kitchen, ever asked us if we liked food. A very striking difference to the level of hospitality you normally have in Italy.

Great restaurant. We spent our wedding dinner and had wonderful time there. All dishes tasted amazing and were beautifully served. The stuff was really nice and helpfull and the decore was very cozy. Fully recommend!

Very nice restaurant with a dreamy menu: it's impossible to choose, everything looks so good! We selected a variety of antipasti, each one as excellent as the next. Cuisine with fresh and perfectly seasoned products. Very pleasant and friendly service. Very pretty setting. If we lived in Milan, we would be there every weekend!
